Sleeping with somebody you like was one of the best feelings a person could have for sure, and as the morning came by, Isaac woke up with Gavin's head resting in his chest while his arm embraced his torso. He wanted to stay in this position forever, not willing to get up anytime soon, but his head was popping up with messages from his Lenses, and that was the reason why he woke up in the first place. He looked at the sleeping Gavin on his chest and he caressed his cheek with his thumb, not feeling the scratches he had the night before and seeing that his skin was not red anymore. Maybe his body learned how to reject radiation faster since the last time Gavin was submitted into that situation, but fortunately it wouldn't happen anymore.

Isaac lowered himself in the bed so he could be in the same height as Gavin, kissing his cheek before getting up. Gavin moved in the blankets as Isaac did it, but he didn't mind opening his eyes. "What time is it?" He asked with his voice totally sleepy.

"Early. Go back to sleep. I will go make breakfast." Isaac turned his Lenses' view on and started reading the messages as he walked to the kitchen. Tons of texts from his mother, Lola and Cameron popped up in his face. The first one he answered was Lola, as he asked her to come over so they could talk, than he answered his mother, and as he sent the message he received a call from Angelina for the first time since the day she went away.

"Hello, mother. How are things going?" He simply asked like the day before didn't happen.

"ISAAC! Oh my Gods!" She called out for him, feeling relivied to finally talk to her child. "What the Orys happened yesterday? I couldn't sleep all night thinking about it, son."

"We are fine, mother." He opened the cabinet while talking over the call, grabbing two pans inside of it. "The monsters are dead and we got back at the bunker safely. Nothing to worry about."

"The helicopters filmed everything and it was like watching a movie. I was so scared that you could get caught in the end. Chemeris would be- no, actually I am sure he is proud of both of you, wherever he is right now."

"Gavin really did an amazing job yesterday." He remembered the scene of Gavin finishing the monster and smiled at the memory.

"But you have to be careful now, more than ever. Everyone saw Gavin killing the monster yesterday and the public is standing by his side, so I can presume Kye is not liking it at all. The searches for Gavin will get stronger again." Angelina did a quick search that morning about the matter and she felt relieved to see that most of people online were supporting Gavin, after the cameras recording him killing the monster that killed more than a million people so far.

"Really?" Isaac was refering to people supporting Gavin. Yesterday, when the monster took his helmet off, Isaac was invisible and surely could step into the roof to help Gavin, but he was aware the cameras were around, so if the monster revelead Gavin's identity it would be a good thing. It worked just the way he wanted. The entire nation saw the Outlander killing the monster and now they didn't think the boy was the horrific serial killer Kyedoth wanted him to be. "That is awesome."

"Yes! Having people on your side is a great start, but you two need to stay low key for a bit, just as I am. Take that time to come out with a public intervention involving the entire truth about Gavin. We need more than half the population on our side."

"It will be hard I guess, but we will figure something out." Isaac opened the fridge and grabbed some ingredients. "How is father doing? And Della?"

"Your father is improving. Sadness got the best of him in the first days but we helped each other out. Your sister is being home schooled for now but she is fine too. We're all still sad. It will never fade away."

"Kyedoth will not get out harmless. I will make sure of it." The sound of Isaac quickly cutting vegetables called his mother's attention.

"What are you doing, Isaac?" She asked while walking at the porch of their parents' house, having a clear and beautiful view of the suns rising up in the sky.
