I strongly misjudged the situation

The past day was pretty quiet. The guys didn't come by. Probably got caught up with figuring out what the hell is going on. I'd really like to know too, I don't blame them.

I walk back to the shed from the house. We are in hiding but I'm not gonna do my business in a bucket or something. I open the door and go inside.

I don't see Eddie and a worried look forms on my face.

"Munson?", I call out

I step forward

I approach the boat to check outside in the lake

Nothing.

Suddenly the tarp unfolds from into the boat

"Shi-", I screech out tripping on a bottle on the ground and come falling down

"Agh!", I hiss out

"Shit!", he says quickly stepping off the boat and approaching me "Are you okay?", there's concern in his voice

"Yeah, I'm fine", I say

As I go to get up I feel a small pain on my left ankle

"Agh", I lift my foot from the ground

"Shit, you're hurt", he comes to help me sit down

"Here", he says softly, sitting me on the stool

"What's wrong with you?", I hiss at him

"Sorry, I didn't hear you come in", he explains

"What's with the tarp", I ask

"It's cold", he says with a shrug "Are you gonna be okay?", he asks

"Yeah, I don't think it's serious", I say sitting down on the ground with my knees to my chest

He sits down opposite me with our legs almost tangled up together. I look around searching for my bag. It's on the table.

"Great", I say in defeat

"What?", he wonders

"My bag", I say pointing at the bag

"Oh, wait, I'll get it", he says and rushes to get it

"Why? You don't have to be nice cause you broke my ankle", I say

"You don't know it's broken", he says defensively

"Exactly. I don't know", I say jokingly trying to trigger his guilt

He looks in the bag for a second. He turns around and looks at me.

"You listen to Black Sabbath?", he asks pulling a tape out of the bag

"Yeah?", I say surprised by the fact that he doesn't know. I kinda thought Dustin woud've told him or something. Or Gareth.

"I thought you listened to depressing and mellow stuff. You know, to match your energy", he says mockingly

I give him a fake smile

"And you're telling me Black Sabbath is not depressing?", I comment

He scruches his face in denial

"Let's see. 'Paranoid', 'Loner', 'Lonely Is The Word', 'God Is Dead'", I say counting with my fingers

"Wow, you really know your stuff", an impressed expression spreads across his face

"Of course I do", I say with a shrug

"You're still depressing, though", he shoots back leaning forward and I shake my head in annoyance "What else do you listen to?", he asks all curious
