Uya's POV
This girl thinks I'm stupid. I know she's taking about Viwe. She leaves the room to go to the bathroom and her phone rings I answer it.
???: baby?
Me: it's not her, she's in the bathroom.
???: alright, just tell her I called.
Me: I will, viwe.
Aviwe: how did you know?
Me: I have lived with you my entire life, I know your voice, smarty pants.
Aviwe: haha, just tell her I called okay.
Me: that "haha" was so sarcastic.
Aviwe: uya dude...
Me: fine, I'll tell her you called.
Aviwe: sharp.
He ends the call and Thando walks in.
I get up and open her wardrobe to get a second throwover and then I see my brothers gym bag. I grab it and show it to her.
Uya: whose bag is this?
Thando: mine.
Uya: tell the truth, wena.
Thando: okay, it's Viwe's.
Uya: thank you. now iza nazo, are you guys finally official or what?
Thando: what do you mean?
Uya: come on, you guys have been in love for years...
Thando: yes, we are.
Uya: I'm so happy for you, when are you getting married?
Thando: haibo, kanti what's with you guys?
Uya: haibo yindaba? (What's wrong)
Thando: hai (no)
We laugh and I'm overjoyed. I don't know when last we had moments like this and I'm glad they finally decided to show each other that they love each other. I was so tired of their nonsense.
Uya: anyway, he called and told me to tell you that he called.
Thando: okay. you know something strange happened...
Uya: what?
Thando: the other day, I picked up Aviwe's phone and there was a familiar voice on the other side and when I asked if I could take a message from him, wavele wathi "just tell him I called."
Uya: that's very strange. even Ntsi was answering phone calls in private, he would whisper even.
Thando: I wonder...
Uya: I have an idea...
Thando: tell me.
Uya: we follow them around tomorrow. I will call Ntsi and ask him what he is doing tomorrow and so will you, you will call Aviwe and ask him the same thing and then we'll follow them around.
We both laugh but realise it's brilliant so we're gonna do it. We call my mom and ask her to lend us two cars and she agrees only to lend us one so we ask Thando's parents and they give us the second one.
