Six days has passed since Claude went back to the past and it may have been one of the most stressful days of his life, from the anxiety and excitement of seeing Diana's beautiful face once again, Claude mood had shifted to anger seeing the woman she despises the most attempt to force herself into his presence

" your majesty as you can see my daughter Penelope, your ex fiancé is pregnant, we are here to inform you that she is carrying your child" count Judith bravely announced to the emperor, with his daughter announcing that she is pregnant and admitting that it was the emperor's child, Roynald had no choice but to inform the emperor, this child will bring many influence and wealth towards his house

Claude scoffed thinking how much these people think he is a fool to believe such thing, he never once touched Penelope Judith all through their engagement, not even a kiss at that, and they want him to believe that he is the father of their mutt, no wonder they were all easily executed by his daughter, they are idiotic fools

" that mutt she is carrying is no child of mine" Claude announced to the family, the Judith family were taken back by his claim, how dare he denies his child, a half breed like him denying a child from a noble, who does he think he is?, Penelope silently cursed, it seems Claude isn't the fool she thought he was

Anastasius began to think how could he have slept with her when he doesn't even remember once being alone with her that it could have escalate them into sleeping with one another, Anastasius never once liked Penelope not even thinking of her existence, especially all those times she made him uncomfortable trying to seduce him, until he remembered the night of the banquet when he decided to drink a bit too much, that's the only way for he and Penelope to sleep with one another as the next week he receives the annulment of his engagement with aurora

" Claude it is your child!-" Penelope tries  to convince him, if she knew in the end claude would become emperor with Anastasius stepping down, not needing to do anything to become empress in the end, she would have stayed beside him and not try so hard for Anastasius to notice her
