Julian's POV-
As the day had went on as it usually does, well as usual as it could from what I now know, besides that I was on my way to history class whilst I caught notice of Selina walking on the same way as well so I'd figured I might as well make some small conversation along the way.
"Hey there Selina." I called out.
"Oh, hey Julian. Heading to history?" She asked.
"Well yeah obviously, it's not like I could skip class if I wanted to. I mean where would I go?" I said.
"There's a Dunkin Donuts just on the other side of the road. Or maybe the track." She had suggested.
"I suppose so, but it's whatever. Not really one to break the rules in any case." I commented.
"Maybe you should try it sometime. Should bound to help you not be boring." She remarked in a laugh.
"I take being boring as a compliment thank you very much. Plus if being boring gets me to graduation the so be it." I replied.
"If you say so." She said after shaking her head.
By now we were already in class and listening to the new topic of today's lesson which was involving The Great War, which was commonly known as World War One. The only thing that I was listening to for the most part in the class was about the attack of the dead men which told about how when the Germans had used mustard gas to attack several Russian soldiers and afterwards they began to march forward to check the body as that was when they were shocked to see the Russian soldiers rising up from the ground all bloody and immediately charging at them. Which hence the name of the event during the war, the reason it caught my interest was simply because of how these men despite having being exposed to deadly fumes that caused their inside to basically melt had still had the will to keep fighting until they finally fallen. It's pretty amazing to think about considering how it was like they had risen from the dead.
Though majority of the lesson was in the back of my head since I was mostly chatting quietly with Selina as the topic went on, so far just discussing about common things from school to hobbies that we partake in. I did want to ask if she had an interest in wolves since the conversation got me thinking about how focused she was on from last time in class, though I chose against it for the time being since it could be a personal question as we continued to chat with each other. Soon it was about to be the end of the class which meant the day nearing the end as I decided to ask something else.
"So Selina, since we're starting to get to know each other I was wondering if you're not busy if you wanted to come by the auditorium to see our rehearsal. Like be a stand in for the audience so we can get some feedback." I had asked.
"Oh? Well that sounds awesome and I would gladly come to see but... but I am actually busy today I uhh... gotta do some chores at home and such. But maybe next time you know I'll see if I can." Selina responded sounding a little suspicious.
"Okay then, I'll be sure to let you know our next rehearsal then. Also if you still have any issues with science I'm glad to come over to help." I suggested.
"I... rather you didn't. Since you know that would make us look like... you know." She said with a gesture.
"Right right... how silly of me, then maybe meet at a Dunkin Donuts instead." I suggested again.
"That's a lot better. Who doesn't like learning science with some coffee." She joked.
"Ain't that right. Anyway I'll see you around later hopefully." I replied before the bell rang as I walked off to my next class.
