Julian's POV-

It's been several hours that had passed as far as I could tell since I checked my phone which wasn't damaged from the attack earlier, thankfully. The time was around five which meant it was already Saturday though it was also still night outside, I was told to get some rest but I didn't feel at all tired nor did I think I needed some sleep. Even if I did it would most likely lead to me having the same dream that I've been experiencing even before the encounter with the Wendigo. Though the more I think about it further I never really wondered why I was having the reoccurring dream since I didn't think much of it I thought it would go away, but looking back on it perhaps it may have something to do with the encounter considering how I had seen the Wendigo in my dream.

Eventually I figured to do something in hopes of passing the time as I looked around again and took notice of my backpack near the side of the prop couch to which I grabbed to pick it up, zipped it open, and then skimmed around for something to grab as I pulled out an unused notebook that I had and proceeded to open to the first page. After grabbing a pencil from one of the side pockets I began to quickly write down on the paper, my mind when writing quickly went to what had just happened with me giving description of the Wendigo and several side notes. The next page was writing about the whole troupe being supernatural and whom I could tell who was which.

One hour later.

I was a few pages into writing further before I heard the sound of one of the doors opening which I figured was either Tyler or Viktor coming in to check on my condition since they were told by Walburn to keep an eye out on me. I wasn't worried or nervous since despite now knowing what they were I still considered them as my upperclassman, plus the two of them were usually the jokesters of the troupe and were great to have conversations with. However the voice a someone different but familiar was heard and neither was Tyler or Viktor.

"Hey Julian." Laci had called out to me showing a smile as usual.

"Oh hey Laci, what are you doing here? Usually rehearsal started at 9." I would comment upon seeing her enter the auditorium.

"I wanted to see if you were doing okay and if I needed to try the spell again." She answered once getting near. "And I apologize for our group not really telling about our supernatural traits."

"You don't have to apologize for that, in all honesty I most likely wouldn't have believed it anyway." I would reply giving a small smile.

"We wouldn't blame you for that, considering the world we live in." She responded. "What's that you're writing?" She asked referring to my notebook.

"Oh this? I figured since after discovering the whole troupe thing I should take some notes to see what else I can learn.... just on the off chance that I could be in danger or something." I would explain.

"So it's like a journal entry for yourself about the supernatural." Laci had suggested.

"Basically yeah, so far I have only written a bit on the Wendigo plus Tyler and Viktor though I haven't asked them anything about it yet." I would respond back.

"That's pretty cool if I say so myself." Laci commented still smiling.

"Well for a human I'd guess, but I say you guys are much more cool." I would then remark. "Actually you mind if I ask something?"

"Of course, what is it?" Laci would question.

"Since I'm taking notes, I'd like to ask if it's okay with you if I can ask to learn about your lore if I could refer it to that?" I had asked.

"Oh? Yes of course, I'd love to tell about the history of witches... well as much as I know obviously." Laci would answer.

"That's fine, plus it's still a few hours until rehearsal starts so you can tell me how much you know. And I'll take as much notes as I can." I replied with my pencil in hand ready to write.

"Alright then where to start...?" Laci would question for a bit of pause.

By then I stayed silent and simply listened to what she had to say. She begins to explain how the stories and legends of witches have been around for centuries including how they are considered the ones to keep the balance of nature. Going further as to say how some witches have separate covens while others tend to remain isolated but what I found interesting was that how the magic they practice stems from many different forms and origins though there are a few main things each witch is capable of doing which are doing what I could only understand to be telekinesis of sorts. That as well as being able to communicate with their ancestors, meaning that they are from a continuous generation. As I simply continued to listen and write down as much as I can, I would also come to wonder what are these practices capable of doing or can someone learn to be a witch. Either way I still keeping writing down more notes, where Laci would then begin to speak about some subsections of witches.

"For me as example, I'm a siphoner witch." She would state.

"A siphoner? What's that?" I asked sounding a little dumbfounded when realizing she was going to tell me.

"There are witches who can generate their own magic whereas siphoners are witches who are unable to do so. But as a counter for that we are able to draw magic from many different sources." Laci explained.

"That's pretty awesome, so are siphoners in the sense rare for witches to be?" I asked again.

"Indeed they are, though unfortunately some are considered unnatural even for witches." Laci would say though from her tone I could tell it wasn't good.

"Well that's pretty awful, just because you can't generate your own magic doesn't mean you shouldn't be seen differently." I would point out.

"I know, it's why I tend to try to use my magic for more helpful purposes like for healing." Laci said having a smile back on her face.

"So is it just you and Olivia who are witches?" I asked once again.

"No, there's several other students here and more others including our families who are from witch heritage." Laci had answered.

I gave another nod and went back to listening to her talking on further while I kept writing more notes. Mainly things about the covens, the types of magic, and their heritage which for me seem the most important things to have notes on and which I would hopefully go back to reread. It felt like another hour had passed with me and Laci simply talking to each other with me listening more about what she had to tell, but it was then when I heard one of the doors opening again to which the two of us looked at the direction to see Walburn now here as well.

"Good morning to you two, I see that you're awake now Julian." Walburn commented walking over.

"I've been awake for a while actually...are Tyler and Viktor still outside?" I came to ask.

"They're still here, it's Saturday rehearsal after all. But I would like to speak to you in private please?" Walburn said then looked to Laci.

"I'll talk to you later." Laci replied with her smile still on before waving goodbye, leaving me with Walburn.

"So uhh...did they find anything from yesterday?" I asked.

"Unfortunately not much has been gathered though I did receive word from the higher-ups. And considering this is a surprising situation I've been told to inform you that from this moment on you will be part of The Order." Walburn would explain.

"The what what???" I looked confused. "What about my school and everything?"

"You will still attend your school work until graduation, but you are now in the hands of The Order now. " Walburn explained. "They are an Elite group meant to keep the balance and protection of mankind and the supernatural."

"So I'm part of a group of humans who protect other humans?" I asked again.

"In a manner yes, that is all for now I can answer, now best to get ready for rehearsal." Walburn instructed.

"Doesn't this seem more important than rehearsal? Also what about my adopted parents or something?" I asked slowly standing before suddenly feeling this tense aura from my theatre teacher.

"Rehearsal is very important.... As for that, all will be answered soon." Walburn replied then sent me off to the dressing room.

"Okie dokie.... that was weird...but at least I know a few things." I said to myself while looking at my notebook.
