Chapter 46: Team Work

Julian's POV-

After my apparent dramatic entrance to returning back to the school and being greeted by mostly everyone, I would now be facing off against the corpse that took me away from said everyone who was now keeping their full attention on me which was what I had been planning on. Since The Lich would keep his focus on myself had meant that I could delay him for much longer until I can figure out how I can grab back my blood sample that I would expect he hasn't used quite yet seeing as everything hasn't gone totally crazy prior to my arrival aside from several or rather a multitude of deader than dead bodies of ghouls over on the main area of the school. And so with my fist clenched and standing opposing the cloak of bones in front of me, I wouldn't wait to take another shot and went for a left hook this time to strike at the torso before delivering another right hook just as quickly however he didn't go down but was effected by the blows yet did manage to grab my throat and lifted me up from the ground to go for a full on chokeslam against the grass and dirt.

That's when I moved my legs up with a slight hip thrust on order to wrap my legs around his arm and move around to get into a arm hold now using my weight to push his front down onto the grass instead whilst I kept a grip on his arm to keep pulling like a grappling submission but then again this guy now had four more limbs and quickly got back up and immediately grabbed me by my shirt to throw me back down on the ground again. At which point he lifted up both his upper arms together to go for a slam down but that's when I propelled myself up by my hands and used my legs once again to go for a full body kick against his torso against which pushed him back a little and allowed me to stand back up on my feet again. Though I still haven't found nor have gotten back my blood sample off from his body since it was going to be difficult to keep the Lich down long enough for me to retrieve so for now I just needed to overwhelm him or at least try to tire him out.

Afterwards I came running forward at full speed to strike for another punch at his torso only for him to quickly grab a hold of my hand as he would try and go for a punch himself and I would do the same and grab a hold of his other hand which left me vulnerable to his other limbs of which he quickly started striking at my abdomen mainly. Each strike increasing the pain impact I was tanking in at the moment until I would try to pull my hands away to try and grab at my stomach yet he wasn't letting go and so I kept tanking in more blows that was making me almost wanting to puke at that point. And just as he was about to deliver another punch, out from the side came Selina in here wolf form biting down on The Lich's arm and aggressively pulling it away as it not only caught him off guard but gave me the opportunity to pull away but not without kicking him back as Selina would also be helped by Adrian shifting into a tiger and doing the same thing in biting down on his other arms. Soon came Laci along with Ashton, Collin and Lily coming to check on me.

Laci: You hurt?

Julian: Just a couple of hard blows, haven't puked yet.

Collin: Great, now if you don't mind we want to tag along in this team work.

Ashton: As if we're going to let you fight him by yourself.

Julian: Appreciate the help.

Lily: Good because we're not taking no for an answer.

Soon both Selina and Adrian would be tossed back towards our direction then reverted back as their human forms as I quickly rushed over to check them both.

Julian: You two alright?

Selina: Yeah... he just tastes terrible.

Julian: He is a corpse after all.

Adrian: We're here to help out our big brother!

Julian: I can see that and it is very much welcomed.
