Julian's POV-
It was next day which I was awakened by Joshua who was using the megaphone to get me up immediately off from the couch. Which was most definitely not what I needed to hear for the first thing in the morning as I instantly jumped up and quickly fell back now on the ground with a faint groan.
"Glad you're awake, you best get up and ready for the day." Joshua spoken with the megaphone.
"Yeah... thanks for the wake up call." I replied still groaning.
"You'll be getting used to these things soon enough. But enough wasting any time." Joshua remarked.
Soon I would be getting up and ready to start another day of school once again as I stepped out of the auditorium already noticing majority of the other students already entering into the school through the gates, whereas me on the other hand I went to look around at the old spot in the corner to see if my friends would be there hopefully. Though unfortunately once again they were no where around, but seeing as there was plenty of time before first period so I took the opportunity to walk on to Mrs Walburn's English classroom. On the way I felt a sudden grab at my shoulder and looked to my side to see Selina smiling at my direction to which I returned a similar smile.
"You heading somewhere man?" She asked.
"Yeah actually, I was on my way to one of my teachers classroom to chat with my friends. You can tag along if you want." I suggested.
"Sure, glad to come with." She replied before soon walking alongside me. "So how was your morning?"
"Very loud in the ears from the alarm. But aside from the few sore spots I'm managing." I answered.
"Oh... Wait I didn't notice your bandages. What happened it looks like you got hit with a giant hammer or something." She commented.
"Hah... I guess it did feel like that. But I uhh....had a collision with some skaters on the sidewalk, I'm fine." I replied again.
"Was that what you were doing last night after school?" She asked curious.
"Yeah... yeah I was, what about you what did you do last night?" I asked in return.
"Oh... I was uhh... just doing some chores at home you know, the simple boring things." She answered a little strange again.
"Really now...no kidding, hearing the word chores in a sentence was almost making me feel sleepy again." I joked.
"Yeah you can say that. But I seriously gotta say from when we first started talking you looked a little beat up, now you're showing a lot more damage." She would point out.
"What can I say, I guess I have a knack for being a injury magnet." I remarked.
"You know most guys would say chick magnet right?" She asked.
"I know, but I'm not like most guys. I'm a nerd remember." I said.
"A very injured and boastful nerd if that's what you mean." She spoke with a laugh.
Soon it was just went from the two of us walking to me and Selina now only having conversations and by the time I realized I wasn't at Mrs Walburn's classroom, the bell had already rung for the school day to start.
Beep!
"Dang! I just forgot why I was walking." I commented.
"Don't swell on it man, I'm sure I'll get another chance for you to introduce me to your friends." Selina stated.
"Well that's true, so I'll see you in history class then." I said.
"You know it." She replied with a wink.
