Joshua's POV-

As I led on with the other students at my trail, the beast was once again back up after the command of The Lich had worm off as it was now opposing me and rest of the kids standing behind me with some rather nervous or nearly shaken with fear. I could understand their reactions and feelings of the situation at hand. I, myself, was almost feeling shaken as though they are children they come from different supernatural origins whereas I am a simple human and would be the one to take charge against this enormous threat. This reminding me of the story of David and Goliath which reflected this very moment as remained standing against this giant when it had released a bellowing roar to everything around.

I didn't hesitate to lift up my handgun and pulling the trigger of my firearm once again immediately when I got the opportunity to do so. Though now it's attention came upon me as it would soon after lift up it's arm blade before swiftly striking it down towards my direction and with a quick move towards the right I would avoid being sliced but not almost stumbling over once the fist of the beast had hit the ground making it shake slightly from where we were standing. I would yell out for the kids to take cover as they had done enough of what they could, as far as I knew Julian and his group had The Lich covered and so it only left for this giant to be taken care of once everything was over. For now I would see to it that the rest of them would be out of harms way and so continued to fire off more rounds at the face of the giant which had given them enough chance to get away from the vicinity of where I and the giant stood.

Moving around once again from its attempted slice down to the ground with their arm blade as this would come to be an advantage for me since it showed the giant though very large to be slow in the attacks it delivers. And so still firing more bullets at their head, I would keep on moving from one side to the next until I became suddenly cornered. I would try to keep shooting but my ammunition had officially ran out and so all I could do was to keep backing up until I was fully cornered as I waited for the swinging down of the giants arm blade only for it to be set back by a thrown bayonet blade by Anderson who came from the top of the building and jumped down to launch another bayonet at its head to make it stumble back and giving me enough space to rush out of the corner.

Anderson: Saved ya just in time didn't I?

Joshua: Thank God you had so.

Anderson: Can't have ya dying now.

Joshua: Most certainly.

Anderson: Here's a blade, you'll need it. Now come on and let's take down this bloody demon.

Joshua: Couldn't agree more.

Afterwards me and Anderson took to rushing forward and went to strike at the feet of the giant even if it had done only little to damage it but still had its attention on now the two of us whilst the giant had continued its repeating attacks of slamming down the ground with their arm blade. At this point the rest of Anderson's associates would join in the fray and each would all take a turn in either throwing, shooting, slashing, or simply stabbing with our weapons against the giant whilst it would in return keep trying to take down any of us but to no avail. However as slow as the giant was, it had eventually started to get a grasp of our attack pattern and so lifted up its foot and stomped down hard which sent many of us back and several hitting against hard objects in the process. I would try to get up but it had seemed my stamina would be nearly depleted from how much I was putting in, though looking over I noticed a familiar figure running up to carry me back as I realized it was Walburn whom appeared covered in a purple substance.
