Julian's POV-
It was the end of the day once again as I was just now finishing up the last few notes and paperwork I had for my seventh period class as I listened to the faint sound of the bell ringing in the back of my mind because my ears were actually covered or more so plugged up by my headphones I had on while I listened to calm tuning music. Watching now as everyone else was leaving out from different directions to head on back to their homes since the school day was finished and over with however my focus would turn over to my friends up on the stage while Joshua over on the right side was inspecting several posters on the wall.
I wasn't paying much attention to what they were talking about nor did I have the capability to hear them in any case since most of the outside sounds were blocked by the continuing soft jazz tunes of music I was listening too whilst I had finished up my school work. Afterwards I placed away my belongings back into my backpack and got up from my seat as I was about to head out of the auditorium and go to my science teacher's classroom since earlier I had received word that it was a good to go on using the classroom to work on my project. But before I was about to head out I was stopped by a hand on my shoulder and see it was Joshua who was behind me.
"What is it...?" I asked after I removed my headphones off from my ears.
"Where is it that you're heading off to?" Joshua would inquire.
"I was on my way to another teacher of mines classroom, I have a science project I need to work on and he said I'm allowed to be in there." I answered quickly.
"Well before you do, me and your friends wish to discuss the topic of your training. Just to get you prepared for what you will be doing." Joshua stated before gently pulling me on over to the stage where I faced the rest of my friends.
"So... what about my training is important for me to know beforehand?" I asked.
"Well you see Julian, after what had happened at the tracks. Seeing how you were near death again but somehow manage to still keep kicking, I think we all agree that you have some potential in fighting these things." Collin had spoken up to answer.
"I second on Collin with that, you're pretty strong for a human to handle those attacks." Ashton had added on.
"So what then? What does this have to do with my training?" I asked again.
"As you should be aware this will involve physical work on your body, but also knowing who and what to do when your against an opponent." Joshua would explain.
"So basically it's about knowing everything I need to know and what to do? Okay that doesn't seem to hard." I responded.
"That is what it may seem, until you begin it." Joshua said. "Now then, let us start the training." He then gestured Collin forward.
"Alright listen Julian there's gonna be some supernaturals that can throw hands and I'm talking hard punches. Think you can handle them?" Collin spoke before balling up his fist and getting into a stance.
"Well I'm sure I can handle a bit more than a punch..." I answered.
"Surprise attack!" Then suddenly Collin delivered a quick leg sweep making me fall on my back.
"Could've warned me on that...." I groaned slowly getting back up.
"Just did." He replied back.
Soon Collin had began to go for another leg sweep to which I managed to avoid this time only to receive a sudden blow to my chest courtesy of Ashton who stepped in and who was also in a fighting stance as both him and Collin had soft batons in their hands.
