{16} Kaminari Denki

"GG guys..." A small comment said at the end of a game or even a round of a certain game, the majority of the other players just said it as a nice thing. Others genuinely meant it, in this case Kaminari was the ladder. "I swear this is the last time I play with random players." He mumbled to himself as he took his headset off. Sighing out softly as he leaned back onto his chair and spun 180, staring at the wall on the other side of his room. This was something that the young man had picked up, it had been towards the last couple of years of high school that he got more involved in online gaming. Something that he always thought to be interesting but never really did much about it to immerse himself in such a hobby.

On his days off he tended to entertain himself with such individuals and games. He had gone ahead and even built his own pc, with a little help from Jirou in a couple of the parts but he managed to figure out the rest. Plus with his quirk it made wiring a little easier for him as well as the electrical part of the whole thing. Now here he was, spending his day off fighting with a bunch of other people that were either smurfing or clearly were new to the game. Kaminari wasn't entirely competitive, he did this for fun, it was a way to relax after his job and actually get to enjoy some of his free time rather than going from job to everyday errands that he needed to do. "Well, I'll take a break and get back to this after." The blonde man told himself as he stood to his feet, lifting his arms over his head to stretch as a soft groan left his lips. Relaxing his body once again he began to head towards the door of his room.

Picking up the laundry basket by the door he headed out into the hall and down towards his living room. He might as well get laundry done for the week and he should probably go get some groceries too. As such the young hero went about his errands, managing to get his groceries done while laundry was going. And before he knew it he was back inside of his apartment, a fridge full of snacks and food he needed for the week and laundry in the basket ready to be put away. Though he decided to do that after, in case he got angry again and needed something to do in order to cool down. As he got back into his room and got back onto his computer he noticed that Jirou had sent him an invite, it hadn't been too long so he accepted and put his headset back on. Least playing with someone he knew was a lot more fun than playing by himself.

Even after leaving high school and going on with their careers as heroes he was still keeping in contact with a few of his old classmates. Jirou was most definitely one of them. As much as she said that he wasn't a friend of her's, she never did reject the idea when he introduced her as such. She was one of his best friends, his first and most cherished was Kirishima. And he often joined them on their endeavors in gaming but today it seemed like he was busy with work or even with just errands of his own. He'd probably just text him later today if he wanted to talk or to grab some dinner with him. Something that the two often did whenever they would get the chance, that way they would share what they did throughout the day. It was just something that the two started after their careers took off, since there was little time spent together. But that was alright with them, they were both doing very well.

"It was about time you decided to accept my invite." The young woman greeted him, "How nice of you to skip pleasantries as per usual." Kaminari said in a somewhat snarky tone, of course he wasn't annoyed by it. He liked his friends and wouldn't change any of them. "One of my friend's is going to be joining as well, so that'll make us 3 out of the party of 5." "Oh, a friend?" Though his question went unanswered by the woman and instead someone else was added to the call. "Hello?" A soft voice, definitely not effeminate but it wasn't exactly deep. "Hey, {Name} this is Denki, Denki this is {Name}. Now that you two know each other let's start." "Wait, what do you mean? I haven't even said hi yet!" Well that obviously didn't matter because Jirou had started the match.

It started off pretty bad to be honest, it seemed that the other team was smurfing yet again. That obviously irked the electricity user but not much he could do anyway. "Hey hey, watch this." {Name} said as he tried doing something cool but it didn't work out. "Haha, you mean watch you die!" Denki laughed at what happened to him, honestly it was pretty funny. "They didn't give me the chance to do the thing!" Small banter between the two as they both died a few other times. In all honesty Denki was enjoying himself more with this new person as Jirou kept to herself for some reason. He hadn't noticed it because of the fact that their new friend was being pretty talkative and interacting with him a lot.

The match came to an end and they all looked at the stats, "Dude you suck!" "Nuh-uh, you didn't get to see me do the thing. I was just trying to do that because it was going to be cool, that's why I did bad." The hero just laughed and disagreed with him. "That's not what happened, right Jirou?" "Don't come at me with that, that's between you two." Denki scoffed at her statement but proceeded to laugh, {Name} joined in with a chuckle of his own. "Well guys I gotta go for a few, I'll be back though." "Okay." The two responded in unison, "Jinx" Said {Name} immediately after. "Take care, see you in a bit." And with that the young woman logged off. That left the two of them. It was weird, Denki wasn't feeling that awkward feeling that he usually felt when he met someone new and he didn't quite click right away with. Not that he didn't do that with {Name} but it wasn't quite what he was used to.

"You wanna join a match with a couple of my friends? You really don't have to, we can do a match just by ourselves, just thought the more the better?" The hero hummed softly before sighing, "The more the better, you said so yourself." "Great!" And before he knew it, a couple other people joined their call and the queue. "Heeeyyy," "Hi hi!" Came their greetings, "Hey guys," Responded his new friend. "Ohhh, {Name} who is this??" The other man just hummed softly, "This is Denki, my boyfriend." "Nice to meet you," He responded before the other's words were processed. Wait, what did he just say????
