today's headlines: 5th June.
snezhnaya's president, tsaritsa, will be appointing soldiers at the boarder to arrest any citizen who tries to escape.
snezhnaya's upper class will be donating food and water to the lower class this afternoon at 2pm sharp. those who are amongst the lower class are entitled to receive these donations. these donations are strictly on a first come first serve basis. the donations will be at the town square.
sumeru and natlan have gone to war and the boarder controls here in snezhnaya are to deny entry to refugees from both sumeru and natlan — says the president.

you put down the newspaper and sigh, thinking about if you and alhaitham should go over to the town square to claim those donations since you two were both running out of food for the week. ever since the recent bombings here in snezhnaya, the government had decided to divide the entirety of this country into upper and lower class — there were no middle classes. you and alhaitham were the unlucky ones who got sorted into lower class as you both didnt meet the criteria for being in upper class, so now alhaitham works as one of the boarder security guard, working for the government in order to put food on the table and keep you both warm.
