the classroom was noisy, filled with the laughter of itto and his friends. nobody was paying attention to their homework, and neither keqing or sara could keep the class quiet. you just sat at your desk, your head on the table as you watched your classmate venti — he was busy telling a joke to cyno, and after he did, you saw how he and cyno laughed together.
you didnt know why but you always stared at him. you loved looking at venti, and he never really seemed to realise. whenever he got up from his desk, you wondered where he was gonna go — who he was gonna go talk to next.
it was never you though, what a bummer. whenever he got up with that sweet smile, you half hoped that he would approach your desk. you wished that he saw the way you looked at him, the way you admired him.
he was in the poetry club along with xingqiu, and they were always reciting poetry during school festivals on stage. you always found yourself being captivated by the words, and despite there being many people in the poetry club, your eyes only ever fell on his person.
