Blue Hues

Sometimes I am asked,
The significance of Keshav's skin tone,
Is it black like the clouds,
Or dark like the ocean,
Or blue like the sky,
Or vast like infinity.

Whom am I to answer,
Why should I judge,
What should I answer,
Where do I start observing,
For the answer lies in the question itself.

All I can say is,
His tone is black,
Like the color you see when you close your eyes,
For all I can see is Him, even with my eyes open.

His tone is dark,
Like the monsoon,
Showering love unconditionally,
Rain over parched land,
Making fruits of patience finally bloom.

His tone is blue,
Like the colors of the rainbow,
Arching over the land of love,
Hope and happiness is all that reigns,
When you hold Keshav's hand.

His tone is vast,
For He is infinitely Himself,
No beginning and no end,
No borders and no boundaries,
He's the creator and the creation.

Words are too small to describe Him,
Depth is too shallow to measure Him,
He's higher than the sky,
Greater than the Heavens,
Love is all that can truly bind Him,
In everyone's heart can you sincerely find Him.
