Sundareshwar

The stars adorn the pandal,
The galaxies light the way,
The Gods themselves stand there to welcome,
And the Goddesses help in the ceremonies.

The day is set for the most awaited,
The marriage of Shiva and Shakti,
When the world shall witness,
The most beautiful union of all times.

He enters in with His acquaintances,
For He has neither friends nor foes,
Everyone is equal to Him,
And He dwells in each one equally.

My brother, Shreepati,
Has Himself helped Him dress up,
For He's the sweet innocent Lord,
What would He know of worldly ceremonies.

And as I look through the curtain,
To have a glance at My Lord,
I'm awestruck by the beauty of My Love,
For He's beauty, He's truth, and He's Shiva.

He shines like a luminous God,
Dazzling like a thousand splendid Suns,
With the crescent sparkling Moon,
Adorning His beautiful crown.

He takes His hand in mine,
And recites the beautiful shlokas,
"Wherever your heart shall be,
There shall be mine."

"Shiva is yours,
His heart belongs to you,
I promise to fulfill all my vows,
For I have loved you beyond time,
And will love you beyond eternity."
