What Lakshmi is to Narayan,
What devotion is to love,
I wish to be, for My Ram.
For I've found, the eternal jewel,
Of my life and fate,
And my whole life is now complete,
When I stand next to the ideal man.
No words can tally,
His good qualities,
And no praises can describe,
His splendor and valor.
Yet when He comes up to me,
He's so soft and gentle,
So empathetic and kind,
I can only thank Maa Gauri for Her Divine blessings.
His name is powerful enough,
To even make stone float on water,
His touch is tender enough,
To even turn a beast into a man.
And what to say about myself,
For His presence in my life,
Makes it only more beautiful and divine,
Like the gentle and auspicious touch of God.
Like a lotus blooming in a lake,
My heart blossoms with overflowing love,
He understands me even when I don't speak,
And when I do speak up, He supports my stand.
Every need, every want,
He takes care of me,
He is not just a husband,
But my friend and confidant too.
This love, is what makes life,
Worth living and manifesting,
I only pray that, in my every life and manifestation,
I only seek Him as my husband.
