Let me start off by saying you're about to meet an amazing awkward outcast. Well, here's songs background information.
My parents are divorced. I'm a raising 9th grader. I have always had AB honor roll. I live with my dad and stepmom. I see my mom, stepdad, and the little brothers on side holidays. My stepmom is kindda an a-hole but I live her more than anyone else in the world. I had three dogs. My current dog's name is Clyde. Lastly I have one little brother on my dad's side.
Both John and I were new to Flowcaster Middle School, in a little town called Dasilk.
My first day was 2 weeks after school started already. By the time I arrived that day, I was already two class periods late.
The first class I went to was computer lab. The teacher was nice, he probably felt bad for me since I was so late and had to catch up on so much.
I started on the project everyone else was almost done with. No one attempted to talk to me the entire period.
The next period was band. I play the flute. Whatever have your laugh, but I'm good at what I do.When I walked into the class I quickly scanned the flute section. All girls, except for one guy sitting away from the everyone else. I decided to sit next to him.
"Is anyone sitting here?" I asked him, pointing to a seat on his left.
He look up from his book and I took I took in his facial features. Honestly, he's a handsome dude with short, brownish-blonde hair. He looked at my flute case. "Sure." He said putting his book underneath his chair.
I sat down. "I'm Elijah." I held out my fist towards him- real men fist bump, not shake hands.
"I'm Dean." He said , meeting my fist with his. "This is awesome, finally another guy flute. I was starting to think I was going to be the only one the whole school year."
"Was there one last year?"
"I don't know, I'm new here too."
"Oh, awesome."
We talked the whole class period in between playing.
After class I walked with Dean to his locker since it was on the way to my next period.
"Can you sing? I mean... you just look like someone who can." I said.
He looked at me wide-eyed. "No. Trust me I can't." Then he added. "Can you?"
"Nope. So... are there any scary teachers I need to know about?"
"Just one that I know of. Mr. Rivers. He's terrible."
"I'll keep that in mind if I have him."
"Hopefully you don't." He stopped in front of his locker. "Well this is my stop. See you later, Elijah."
"Yeah, you too Dean."
My last two period were boring so I'm not going to talk about them.
After school my dad came to pick me up. "Did you meet anyone?" He asked.
"Yeah, this guy named Dean. He's new."
He didn't say anything else the ride home, but I could see the faint trace of a smile on his face.
