This is how I met John.

Somehow I managed to get to my computer class early. So the teacher hadn't opened her door yet. When I got there I saw a guy standing by the door. He looked my age and about an inch or so taller than me.

Of course, with me being almost socially unacceptable I didn't have too much courage to talk to this mysterious figure. But I did. And I'm glad I did.

I walked up next to him. Not too slowly or fast like a pervertive creep, but at a good steady pace. And stood a good distance from him.

I cleared my throat and attempted a joke. "I have no idea what's taking her so long. Doesn't she know we have more important things to do other than dilly-dally outside her door?"

He turned around and I practically scanned his face. He had long been hair that stopped about half-way down his neck; kind eyes. He looked... perfect. And, I'm not ashamed to say this... cute.

He smiled. "I know. She needs to hurry up. I have errands to run." His laugh told me that he was messing around, just as I was.

I smiled and nodded. "Nice joke. I'm Elijah." I slightly tilted my head to the side, adding to my cuteness effect.

"My name's John, like from Homestuck. Although you can call me...DA DADA DAAAA." He struck a superhero pose. "CAT GOD!!"

I chuckled a bit. "Is that what people call you?"

He ran his hand though his hair and slumped over a bit... it made him look even cuter. "No, But they should."

"I'll call you Cat God. If you want."

His eyes seemed to have sparkled. "Seriously?"

"Yep."

Then we both laughed and it was time to go in.

Ever since then it's been me and John. He's my best friend. Always.
