Hey Mr. Handsome - not just a crush

As I reflect upon my emotions, I realized you were not just a crush
You were a feeling
And I,
I was but a mere visitor.

I unknowingly knocked
And you opened the door
drawing me in with your charm and allure.

You silently entered
Into the pages of my diary
leaving an unforgettable imprint upon my soul. 

Even in the sticky heat of summer,
someone was more bright than the sun
illuminating my path. Someone was fun and I was stumped.

I must have been crazy to dive into this more
but in abyss of my ocean of emotions, you were my shore.

I tried to suppress my feelings and refrain from writing about you in my diary
but then I would lose that hold once I see you being all that fiery.

I don't gawk at you,
However, just notice a tiny bit
and hell yes the rolled-up sleeves make me lose my wit.
