Breezy Thoughts

I feel like a part of you is still with me

My thoughts inevitably turned to you once again.
We never really said goodbye
This heart won't forget you easily
And I won't leave you that quickly.

You are deep down within me with all that craziness of yours
I am a part of you and you'll be a part of me.

I am rushing through months
hoping to go somehow back to the month when you were still here
Still, I know it won't bring you back.

Maybe you were the person this world never deserved
maybe you influenced me in ways I'm only beginning to understand.
You taught me how to live
You taught me your innocence
You taught me your sense of forgiveness
And became my weakness.

Even though my world keeps spinning
you are missing from every moment.

I hope we meet again
This time I want to talk to you more
and care about you more.
This time, I would like to be the one to depart initially.
