As I approached the end of my current life,
I found myself contemplating the possibility of meeting you in my next incarnation.
For several years, I had merely existed, going through the motions of daily life without any real sense of purpose or direction.
Until I met you
And you woke something in me
passing of days held new significance
Every moment felt real
And for the first time, I was truly living.
I couldn't wait to see what lay ahead.
It was as if I am breathing.
But then it happened
Me leaving you unexpectedly,
There was just one desire that consumed my thoughts
to be reborn in that very instant
As I left behind a cherished part of my being, with only a few words left unspoken, "See you in my next life."
