The peaceful walk of theirs got disturbed as Jimin heard those footsteps again, louder this time. He tightened his grip upon the taller's arm, who was still unaware of his surroundings.
"What's the matter?" Jungkook asked as he noticed that Jimin stopped on his track out of the blue, grip upon the taller's arm tightened from behind.
The taller turned around to see a horrified Jimin, his head quickly turning towards Jungkook. Jimin was almost shaking as he quickly embraced the taller, a sense of relief overwhelming him as his body collided with his love.
Jungkook returned the embrace, quickly scanning their surrounding, trying to find out what made his love get so scared. But, he couldn't find anyone, or anything.
"I- I think that I saw -" Jimin stuttered, facing hardship into forming a clear sentence. Noticing that Jimin was panicking, Jungkook kissed the smaller's lips gently, trying to get the smaller to calm down.
"Let's just go home. Tell me what you saw after we return home, alright?" Jungkook whispered into his ears, when finally Jimin calmed down a bit.
He nodded his head vigorously, wanting to reach home as fast as possible.
Jungkook held Jimin's arms, while the other hand carried their bags. Jimin remained quiet till they reached home.

"Now tell me, what did you see?" Jungkook asked as they both sat on their couch. Jimin's face seemed dull, just like the way he used to be before meeting Jungkook.
The smaller sighed, eyes meeting the taller's as he spoke out in a soft voice, "I guess... I saw them."
Jungkook appeared perplexed at the mention of 'them', "Who?" he asked.
Jimin frowned, his eyes landed on his baby bump, which he was caressing so lovingly, "Leave it. I guess I'm still very scared by my past that I'm imagining such things."
By the mention of his past, Jungkook immediately understood the ones he was referring to, "Them? Oh baby," He slowly hugged the smaller, being careful not to hurt their baby, "Forget about them, alright? They won't be here- no, they can't be here," He soothed the smaller with his honey-like voice.
Jungkook could feel Jimin's smile against his skin as the smaller spoke out, "You hungry?"
The taller laughed as he moved back, observing his Jimin's cute cresent eyes, "Tell me, shall I cook today?" He asked, to which he heard Jimin squeal, "Yes!"
Jungkook wondered if his love was about to give birth to their baby or if he had become a baby himself. After all, the smaller was so adorable in his eyes.
