"Jimin-Ah, you're allowed to come home now!" Jungkook tried sounding happy to cheer the smaller up.

Jimin looked up, nodding slightly. There was no sign of happiness in his face at the news of going home, even though he didn't like the environment of the hospital.

Jungkook sighed, thinking of something else that might bring a smile on the smaller's face.
Jimin liked to eat his favorite food whenever he was down, right?

"Would you like to have fried chicken? You always love to eat them whenever you're down!" He squealed lightly, staring at the smaller with hopeful eyes.

But to his dismay, Jimin shook his head, looking over to the window again.

It was truly frustrating for the taller. Yet, he kept calm.

"How can I make you happy?" He mumbled, pouting.

That's when he felt someone's tap on his shoulder from behind. He quickly turned around at the sudden touch, thinking that it must be one of his five best friends.

Oh... it was the doctor who was in charge of taking care of Jimin.

"Mr. Jeon, I want to talk to you about the matter of him not speaking," he whispered with a low voice to not let the smaller know about the matter of discussion.

Jungkook gulped, nodding before making their way out.

"I believe he is suffering from what we call the traumatic mutism," the doctor sighed, "it's like he's unable to speak after the distressing experience he encountered. I think it's better if you don't force him to speak and let him open up on his own."

Jungkook stood still. It must've been so painful for the smaller that led him to develop a mutism. He couldn't even imagine what actually might have happened back there. He regretted going to work that day so much. With a heavy heart, he thanked the doctor for his help before moving out.

He couldn't face Jimin for now. He was afraid to break down in front of him. To ease his mind, he thought of calling Namjoon as he was great with giving advice.

He dialed his number quickly, waiting for him to answer impatiently.

"Hello, Jungkook?"

"Hyung," his voice trembled, "I'm so afraid."

Namjoon understood just by the way the younger spoke that he was stressed out, "Hey, hey. Calm down for now, alright? Tell me what's wrong."

The younger blurted out everything that he had been feeling, including the information about Jimin suffering from the selective mutism.

"I feel so useless for not being able to help him, hyung," he sobbed silently to not attract other's attention.

Namjoon remained silent for a while. "Jungkook, just so you know, Jimin is a very strong guy emotionally. I'm sure he never blamed you for anything. But," he sighed, "You can still help him."

"How?" That was the only word that escaped his lips. He was so eager to know the answer.

Namjoon smiled, "Stay with him. He needs you to just be with him now."

"A-are you sure that's all I need to do to get him back to the happy Jimin again?"

"Remember how you used to ignore all of us in order to provide Jimin with all the attention during our school days? He seemed happy to just be with you. Trust me. Now get off the phone and take him back home, have something warm and delicious, and embrace each other to sleep."

Jungkook wiped off his tears, "Okay, hyung. I trust you."

"Also, don't worry about finding that bastard, I've already talked to Yoongi about it. They will surely take care of him well," he smiled.
Yoongi was in association with the cops, which made their work way easier to convey the issue.

"Thank you so much! I-I am really so grateful to you. But, I would like to have a talk with Kang-Dae directly once he is caught," he smirked through his tears.

Hanging up, Jungkook went directly to Jimin, as per Namjoon suggested.

"Are they doing fine, Joon-ah?" Jin asked, sitting beside the taller with two cups of coffee in his hands for the both of them.

Jin was worried for them so much. Being the oldest one among them made him feel more connected towards the others. He was like their mother, except for Namjoon, of course.

"I think there's nothing to worry about now. Let them heal each other," he smiled.

Let them heal each other," he smiled
