Jungkook ran inside, his breath uneven.
His eyes were bloodshot as he stared at everyone present there.
Jimin walked in at a rather slower pace, right after the taller. But, he couldn't dare to look at anyone, for his eyes were fixed on a specific rod kept near the table. It was the first thing he noticed upon their arrival- the same metal rod Kang-Dae and his friends had used to... kill their happiness.
Though he really wanted to punish Kang-Dae, he was contemplating in his own mind whether it Kang-Dae's, or his own mistake.
'Could I have been able to save our child, if I tried a bit more to protect him from them?' He wondered.
"Where the hell is that guy?" Jungkook's voice was hoarse as he walked towards Yoongi, his hands wrapped into a fist.
He wanted to kill the demon with his own hands. The reason for all their pain, for the loss of Jimin's happiness; for all of it.
"Jungkook," Yoongi pat the taller's back, "First of all, calm down-"
"Shut up, hyung! I have to see that beast!" He shouted at the smaller. Yoongi understood the situation, stepping back and gesturing the other officers to bring him in.
The happiest days of his pregnancy flashed before the smaller's eyes. He felt a burning sensation in his heart.
It was unbearable, if to be described.
The officers pushed Kang-Dae in. Everyone present in the police station looked at him with disgust.
Jungkook was immediately about to land a punch on his face, but he stopped upon the feeling of a gentle hand on his back.
The taller turned around, knowing that it was Jimin who tried to stop him.
"Jungkook-Ah," he whispered, "can I talk to him first?"
Jimin was strong enough to speak out, which made Jungkook calm down a bit.
The taller controlled his anger, replying with a calm voice, "Go on."
Jimin stepped forward, his eyes facing down.
His hands were shivering, for the cursed memories repeatedly played on his head. Those people who killed their offspring.
They did it.
They did it.
I wasn't my fault.
It was them.
They killed our child.
Why?
Why?
Why?
"Why?" He asked, his voice trembling. His eyes still couldn't meet Kang-Dae.
The police must've hit Kang-Dae a lot, for he couldn't even stand straight. "W-what?" He managed to speak.
"Why did you kill our child? If you were to take revenge," his voice went deeper, "why did you kill the innocent? It was me, who you should've hurt."
"Jimin-" Jungkook tried to speak in between but was stopped when Jimin looked up. His eyes expressed rage as he stared at the dark orbs of Kang-Dae.
The whole room was filled with the sound of a tight slap.
Yes... Jimin was taking his revenge now. He slapped the beast.
Jimin's jaw clenched as he continued, "Because of you, my Jungkook isn't happy. It's all because of you, and your stupid friends. You! Deserve to rot in hell!" He screamed with all his might, his voice breaking.
Jungkook's eyes watered as he finally knew... Jimin was releasing his pain and anger, to the right person.
Nobody dared to stop the smaller. They all watched Jimin take the same rod in his arms, the one which they used that day to kill his child, and hit the demon with all his might.
Instead of stopping, Yoongi rather smiled at the scene.
Agonizing screams left Kang-Dae's mouth as he repeatedly apologized to the smaller. But Jimin was not in his right mind. He wanted to see him in more pain.
"It's you!" Jimin hit him in his arms," Because of you... I can no longer find happiness in Jungkook's eyes."
Jimin finally stopped, throwing the rod aside, falling on his knees.
Jungkook immediately went to comfort his love, while the other officers took Kang-Dae back in.
The smaller sobbed terribly, feeling safe in the taller's embrace. "It's okay, I'm happy that you finally took the revenge," Jungkook whispered into his ears, "I love you, Mimi. He is the one who ruined our happiness. Let's get back to being happy like before, hmm?"
Jimin looked up, his eyes still teary, "Y-yes Koo. It was him- I swear I didn't want anything to happen to our child," he tried explaining, thinking that Jungkook was still blaming him for everything that had happened.
"Shh," he pecked the smaller's forehead, "I know, love, I know... It was never your fault. I know how much you loved our child, and I also know that you had tried your best to protect our child as well."
Jimin could finally breathe in peace. Knowing that the demon would finally get the punishment he deserves, and knowing that Jungkook still loved him like no other. He realized that it was never actually his fault.
And Jungkook, he was rather happy to see such progress in the smaller's behavior."I love you so much, Koo... Let's heal, together," he smiled softly, kissing the taller.
'Crying; it's not a sign of weakness. It rather shows that the person has been strong for too long'
"Where are the rest of the guys, hyung?" Jungkook asked as he prepared for their departure. Jimin was still holding onto the taller, not wanting to let go anytime soon.
The smaller's expressions were finally not numb. Though he did not speak anything, Jungkook was happy, knowing that the old Jimin was back- his eyes said it all.
Yoongi gave the both of them a smile, "We found two of the others, and since we got a hold of Kang-Dae, the main culprit, it is going to be a piece of cake to find the rest of them. You guys shall never experience such amount of pain ever again," he ruffled Jungkook's hair, "Now, get back to being the cute couple you were before all this happened. It's impossible to forget, but I hope you guys learn to accept the past and move on."
That's the end, I'll say. A tinyyy epilogue is left, and I'll upload it soon.
