It's so easy to talk about acceptance and letting the grief go. But, the process is rather slow and gradual, which needs a lot of emotional strength.
Thankfully, Jimin had Jungkook by his side always, and Jungkook had Jimin.
There were sleepless nights, both of them crying their heart out. But, it all just led to their relationship growing even stronger.
They got to experience a whole new perspective of love. And hence, their bond has turned out to be the strongest among all.
Yes, there are still unfavorable days when Jimin is unable to utter anything as the cursed moments go on in his head. But Jungkook understands his state of mind, giving the smaller some time for himself. Jimin couldn't be more grateful to have someone like his Koo, who loved him more than anyone.
Even though Jungkook isn't verbal about his sufferings, Jimin knows when the taller is feeling down. And till this day, homebaked muffins are still their ready-to-go meal whenever one feels down.
They were like the swans, who had mated for life.
"Jungmin-ah!" Jimin called out his five year old son, who was very active for a kid of his age.
Jungkook laughed as he looked at Jimin, running after their kid in the children's park.
The smaller was always careful about the safety of their kid. Hence, Jungmin, being a naughty kid, added to his work. It was always a happy moment whenever their kid was with them.
Jimin carried Jungmin all the way back to where they were standing, panting. "Yah, he's crazy! Just like you!"
"Yeah," Jungkook giggled again, "he got my behavior and your looks. He's perfect."
Jimin smiled with his cresent eyes as Jungmin repeated, "I'm purrfect!"
"Yes, you are!" Both of them exclaimed together, feeling blessed to be fathers of such an adorable child.
Trying for another child was difficult, for Jimin was scared that something unfortunate might happen again. However, Jungkook comforted him, letting him know that Kang-Dae and his gang were in jail for a long period of time, so it was not productive to still stay scared.
When Jimin found out that he was pregnant again, he was overjoyed. But he was so careful and scared that he never even moved out unless it was necessary. Jungkook always embrace the smaller whenever he would cry out, being worried for their future child.
And, after everything that happened, they were blessed with a beautiful child— Jungmin, to whom they gave their whole heart to.
The feeling of being a parent is more than just being happy or grateful. The love for a child by their parent is unconditional.
