He's Not So Bad

Acronix quickly took in his surroundings. This was an alley way somewhere.

Acronix's watch beeped. Cyrus showed up on the screen.

"Leave me alone. I have to find him!"

"We feel that's an unwise decision. Come back and we can look together."

"I have to do this on my own." Acronix slapped the watch and it turned off.

He slowly made his way to the sidewalk, quickly realizing that wouldn't work. He'd stick out like a sore thumb with the armor he was wearing.

It was less than before, only covering his arms and chest.

He quickly turned around and started walking the other way. There was a sewer vent that he had seen on one of Krux's maps.

He looked around quickly before pulling the grate off the top and sliding down inside pulling the grate back over him.

Zane had contacted the team multiple times telling them something was wrong. There were foreign entities in Ninjago and the security droids had been far more active today than the rest of the week.

Above all that though, a Borg Watch had returned.

They weren't answering his calls.

And it was moving toward them.

He had to act fast. Who knew what this man would do to them if he found them.

The other entities were a different form of tech that Zane's sensors could barely pick up. They hadn't done any harm, but zane couldn't stop thinking about it.

Jay, Kai, Cole, and the kids. Now he had a reason to check it out.

Acronix emerged in a part of the city where he knew he'd be alone. Krux had told him no one came to this area. It was a labyrinth of alleyways after all.

Easy to get lost in. Which is what he planned to do.

Acronix heard footsteps behind him.

"I would not take another step if I were you."

He knew this voice. He turned slowly. His breathing quickened, seeing the menacing look on the droids face.

"It was Zane right?" He let out a nervous chuckle.

The nindroid started slowly advancing toward the time master.

"Your readings are different than they were before. Something about you has changed."

Acronix stepped back. "Well, I did die earlier today. Maybe your sensor things are sensing that?"

"No. It seems to be elemental energy. It's as if you can use your elemental power again." Zane looked at his readings. "That would explain the jump with your Borg Watch." Zanes eyes fell on Acronix's wrist.

Acronix instinctively looked down as his wrist.

"Why were you in Borg Tower?"

"As I said before, I died. Borg," Acronix's breath shuddered. "saved me."

"I'll believe it when it comes from Borg's lips." Zane advanced again.

Acronix stepped back again, ready to run. This droid was obviously angry about something. Was Borg his creator and he'd come to take his revenge?

No.

Krux had told him about Zane, well everything he knew. He was created by Doctor Julien. Acronix had asked if he was a Doctor the way 'Sander' was.

"Nope. Doctor is his first name."

What had he done that made Zane so mad?

Zane readied his hands the way the old master of ice would, when he was about to strike.
