I still smelled blood all around me like an ocean waiting to be a hurricane. Due to my full stomach, I was able to ignore it all and walk out of the woods. My fangs sank back in and my eyes changed back to my natural colour. At least I think they did. When I was out of the thick woods I noticed that my shirt had a small blood stain from the rabbit, maybe I will just tell them that I had bit my lip and wiped it off on my shirt. No one was looking so I ran back to school and came in through the front. Shockingly I only missed part of 1st period and now it is time for 2nd period. My hair was still straight and I looked normal despite the blood stain on my shirt and the fact that I can make my fangs appear. As crazy as this sounds the rest of the day was quite regular and no one even bothered to ask about the little stain. Jemmy of course asked about. She was really distraught to find out that the stain was from a bunny but she nodded excitedly when I said that I am full now and should be fine. "So like, what kind of stuff do vampires do? Not including sucking people and animals dry!" She whispered to me. It is 5th period now and we are in PE. The PE coach shot us a glare as I laughed loudly at Jemmy's crazy comment. "Sorry coach!" I apologised giving him a sheepish grin. He can't scare me anymore, I don't think that anyone can do that now that I know I can suck him dry until he can't move anymore. A mischievous grin spread across my face. "Hey Jemmy. Watch this." She stared at me confusingly but gave me a small smile as the coach began to lecture about respecting others. I ran to the coach and quickly tied his shoelaces together in a flash and flew back to my seat. Nobody saw me? Good. Jemmy did not even realise that I had left yet and was glancing at me expectantly until I pointed at his shoelaces with a triumphant smirk.

Jemmy burst into fits of laughter when the coach took a face dive on the gym floor. He immediately shot back up looking like he was going to kill whoever tied his shoelaces, but I just laughed along with everyone else. "Who tied my shoelaces?!?!" He screamed at us. No one answered his angry question, but a few girls snickered at his furious tone. One girl, I think her name is Adalia, raised a shaky hand into the air and the coach stared at her in fury. "Sir, no- no one touched your shoes. We didn't see anyone." She barely spoke. Coach's eyes squinted in Adalia's direction and she backed away. "Oh yeah? Then how did THIS happen? I suppose someone just ran over here when I wasn't looking and did it huh? Immature. VERY immature students." He was snapping at us like he was a girl and PMSing. I know that what I did was very wrong and immature, but he deserved it. At least, I think he deserved it. Right?

Jason's POV

"I don't know mum! I just feel weird today." My mum sighed and rubbed her temples with her fingers lightly. "What does it feel like son?" Mum asked quietly. I sighed and thought about how to put it. "It feels like...like someone is trying to get my attention. Like something is trying to uncover itself from the back of my mind. An untold memory." I said feeling relieved that I have finally said what I felt. Perhaps I am going insane though. "Maybe it's your mate? You know that you have never found her. Either that, or you are just hungry." This time I was beginning to get a little aggravated. Mum was joking, at a time like this! A time like what though? "No mum, I just went hunting a few hours ago." I paused to think while my mum just glanced at me and left the room. "Mum, I'm going for a run in the woods!" I shouted through out the room. "Okay son!" I heard her say before I closed the door.

Avalon's POV

School went by fast today after someone called a teacher to make coach stop yelling at us. It was pretty odd watching several teachers yelling at each other about shoelaces.

We had pizza for lunch, but when I tried to eat it I had to run to the bathroom. I guess that is just a recap of this morning. Now it is pretty obvious to me that I can not eat human food anymore, only my red poison called blood. Jemmy just sighed and continued to eat her food while smiling at my agitated look towards my pizza that would never be finished. "Glad to know you are enjoying me never being able to eat food again." I had said quite sarcastically. Jemmy smiled with a mouth full of pizza and said "Well ats I ooh ove eh." Which I translated to be "Well that's why you love me." We both giggled at our own idiotic jokes and sat in a comfortable silence.

"Mother!" I yelled when my door slammed shut. I had run back home after school. No one replied. "Well if no one is here then I am just going for a run." I said quietly. Swiftly I throw my back pack on the blue leather couch, walk out the front door, close it, and ran.

I sat on the tree branch until stars were beginning to appear in the night sky. Star watching is one of my favourite things to do, they all are just so amazing and beautiful. It always seems to surprise me that so many tiny stars can create a huge beautiful constellation. There were dozens of animals crawling around tonight on the forest floor. None of them really caught my attention. My thoughts floated in and out of my mind as I listened to the wind rushing through the leaves and the sound of a thing my size steadily breathing on a branch below me. Wait! What? I looked below me and suddenly realised that there was actually someone sitting on the branch below mine. How could I not have known that before? They didn't know that I was above them apparently as to they did nothing but breath and watch the ground. It was a male, but the colour of his hair and eyes I could not see because it was dark now and only the moon reflected light. This person though, was not human i could tell. That was about the only thing that I knew about him. A growl escaped my throat as something was triggered in the back of my mind. What is it? I don't know. Something about this person felt weird. After what felt like hours but was only ten minutes I decided to introduce myself to this crazy whatever the heck this person is. I swung my legs over the branch and dangled upside down until my face was the same height as the male's face. He jumped back in surprise and I squealed not seeing his sudden shock coming. "Hi! I've noticed that you are defiantly not human, so tell me, what the heck are you? Oh and my name is Avalon Moore, nice to meet you." I said and asked for as long as my courage stayed. Eventually the male's mouth began moving trying to make words come out, but nothing happened. I sighed and did a weird kind of front flip off of my branch so I landed beside him on his branch. "Can you talk?" I wondered curiously. Cause if he couldn't then I could just talk. He nodded his head yes and then spoke up. "Uh yeah. My name is Jason Valentino. Nice to uh, meet you too?" He said, well more like he asked. "Valentino? Like valentine. Cool. So, what are you?" This time I made sure he heard me. There was something about Jason that made me curious about everything he said. Though, I have no idea if that is a good thing or not yet.
