Ava's POV

His mother?!?! He wants me to meet his mother? At a time like this? We are about to go into freakin war with the Red Moon Pack! I still haven't gotten to meet Jason's pack yet. "Jason I haven't even met your pack yet" Jason interrupted me "Our Pack." I nodded and continued. "Yes, I haven't even met our pack yet and i have no idea what she or the pack will think of me." Jason shook his head and held me tightly in his arms, his breath brushing lightly against my face. "It will be okay. I know you are worried about all of that but you will be okay, i will be okay, your mother will be okay, and our pack will be okay." I smiled, showing how happy i was at his words and picked myself up a little bit pecking Jason right on the lips. Jason's face lit up with joy and he set me down shoving me the way back up the stairs. "Go get ready, Ive already told her we are coming over to see her." I nodded and walked back to my pink room. I am seriously going to have to renovate this room later on. Maybe light red walls and a black comforter for my bed.

Minutes later and i had thrown all my clothes onto my bed and i couldn't even tell it was my bed anymore. "All these clothes..." I said sighing, jumping on my bed and landing on a clothes hanger. Smooth. "Ouch!" I threw the hanger back into my open closet but stayed where i was leaning against my bed frame. "Ava hurry up darling, we have to go." I heard Jason say through my door. His heartbeat was beating fast and i could tell that he was excited. He must be very close to his mother. "I am. Just have nothing to wear!" I yelled the last part because i was not sure whether he had walked away from my door or not. "It doesn't matter what you wear, it just matters that we get there before our dinner gets cold." I cringed at the word lunch. Never again can i eat human food and enjoy the sweet taste of my beloved doughnuts. Jason must have felt my hurt because feet ran up the stairs quickly and stopped at my door. "Don't worry, mum found you someone. I shouldn't have chosen those words." I got up from my spot of misery and ran to my door, swinging it open so fast that when it hit the wall the doorknob went through the wall. Oops. I flung myself at Jason and hugged him tightly. "No, its okay. I just have to get used to the fact that i cant eat regular food anymore ya know." I said breathing in his scent. He always smelled really good. That just sounded strange, like a stalker, anyways. "Okay. Are you ready?"

Laughing i let go of Jason and walk to my bed looking at all the scattered clothes. Without Jason i immediately felt cold but ignored the feeling. Jason walked swiftly towards my bed and glanced at all the clothes. He began to dig through them while i just stood in my spot and quietly laughed at Jason's expression. He looked so serious. The big bad wolf was searching through the vampire girl's clothes. You have to admit that is pretty funny. "Having fun over there?" I stopped laughing and looked at Jason. His expression was still the same serious one but his voice made me know he was just playing. No reply came from me and Jason smirked. Of course i am not going to reply! Who would to something like that?

"Why don't you wear this? It would look pretty on you. Actually anything would but yeah." It was one of my favorite outfits. A black shirt with rips going down the stomach and a white shirt underneath. There was blue and green stars in the places where the rips were. The pants he chose to go with it were blue skinny jeans that fit me perfectly and were extremely comfortable for just about anything. Okay now im surprised. My boyfriend has good taste in clothes, nice. "Don't look so surprised, i am good at choosing clothes you know. After all..." Jason said pausing. "Who would dress this..." He jumped up and flexed his muscles as he smirked at me. "Without looking so good." Whatever you show off. Rolling my eyes playfully i grab my clothes from Jason's hands and ran to my bathroom.

"You look good. Really good." Jason cocked his head to the side looking over me like i was a bug under a microscope. "Jason. I'm not a bug." I replied jokingly. This time Jason rolled his eyes as he blushed a dark red. My Jason...blushed! "A lot of people don't see me blush, but ever since you showed up i blush a lot more than any man should." Jason said still looking at the wall. Was that a bad thing? I laughed at Jason and nudged his arm motioning towards the front door of the house. "C'mon Mr. Bug, let's go see your mum." His head shot in my direction and he smiled taking my breath away. Every time he smiles it feels like it is an instinct to smile back, but that's a good thing in my opinion.

Jason's POV

As soon as Ava and I were outside the front door, we rocketed to the woods. From that point I told Ava to jump on my back and i carried her the rest of the way to my mum's as i was the only one that knew the way there. When we had finally arrived at my mum's little cottage-like house Ava jumped off my back and ran straight into my mum's open arms. That was surprising. I never thought that she would warm up to her so fast, she didn't even say anything, just ran to her! She is braver than she believes. "Hi, it is so good to meet you! Jason has told me so much about you dear. You are so tiny!" My mum said astonished. Her big eyes were bigger than usual and her hair was down and straightened. Mum's apron was wrapped tightly around her waist with the words Wolf's Best Cook written on the front in big black letters. Cheesy but okay."It is nice to meet you too Mrs. Valentino. Jason probably already told you but my name is Avalon Moore, but you can call me Ava if you like." Ava's long black hair blew in the gentle breeze making her scent waft through the air like an extravagant perfume. Her amber eyes shined with excitement and her voice sang into the air as if it had wings. "Jason quit staring at your mate child. I know she is beautiful but one day it is going to start freaking her out." Oh mum. "I don't mind, i do the same thing to Jason." Ava said. She sounded like she was in a daydream and i look over at her to see her staring blankly at her hands. "Ava?" I ask a little worried now. "What?" Her head shot up and she looked at both of us confused. "Whats wrong?" She asked this time. I chuckled and put my arms around her kissing her cheek. "You said you don't mind me staring at you because you do the same thing to me and then you blanked out." Avalon blushed and she pulled away hiding behind my laughing mum. "You didn't mean to say that out loud did you?" My mum was able to ask between her laughter. Mum looked so much younger when she was laughing, it was almost like the years of hard work she has done hasn't affected her. Ava popped her head out behind my mum and nodded looking straight at me. I laughed, looking up at the sky though, i noticed how dark it was getting. Ava probably could see just as clearly as daylight because she is mainly a creature of the night, but us werewolves...not so much. Our vision is good just not that good.

"Alright, let's get inside now. I have the dinner all ready for us." There was a rumbling sound at the mention of dinner and Ava shot into the house ahead of us laughing. "She is a handful. I like her, keep her happy and be good to her." My mum said smiling. I nodded "Of course." and then me and my mum walked into the warm cottage-like house. At that time we didn't know that someone was watching us. We didn't know that tomorrow things would happen that we couldn't totally control, we just didn't know.
