Chapter 14

Alpha of the Red Moon Pack POV

It has been discovered that it was true. Henry has been captured by Jason, future alpha of the Gold Moon Pack. A dozen times and more i have tried to communicate with Henry through the pack link but either he was drugged or he has betrayed us all. Henry is a good little wolf so i believe it is the first one.  How I wish that Jason and his pack would just disappear from the face of the earth. The Gold Moon Pack has been nothing but a nuisance since they arrived here. "Sir. The spy you sent, I believe his name is Mark, he returned with news."

My pulse quickened and i marched over to Natalia, one of my other maids, and looked her hard in the eyes. "What is it?" She shook her head as if shaking away a fear or nightmare and answered. If it had come from anyone else i would not have believed her but Natalia has been with me through thick and thin, i trust her. "Mark claims that the lost pure blood has returned. The one that you tried to capture about a century ago. Avalon. Except they changed her last name to Moore." Avalon Moon. They thought just by moving and changing her last name that we wouldn't find her? True i didn't find her but Mark did. That counts for something. "Avalon Moon has returned. The long lost Pure Blood of the Vampire kingdom. The only Pure Blood in existence. Lets get her." Determination was written across my features and i am pretty sure that whatever i want, i get.

And i want Avalon Moore. "But sir there is something else you-" I cut her off by putting my hand in front of her face and bringing my other hand under her chin, gripping a knife tightly. Natalia gasped and wriggled in my grasp making strange squealing sounds with her throat. Her eyes blazed, but she stood still eventually after a few empty attempts. "Whatever it is. It better be just as good as the news you just told me, otherwise" I paused pushing the knife down a little bit on her throat. Not hard but enough to cut skin and make a drop of blood fall to the floor. Natalia hissed with anger. "It is sir. They are already planning to come here." I dropped her immediately. Why would she be stupid enough to come here? Her mother would have known about this no doubt. Before this time Avalon was not really a secret keeper and she always seemed to get her little child self into trouble. I never knew how she would do it but she did.

"When and why?" My voice was dark, holding back my curiosity and yet, it was merely able to put fear into the back of a hungry shark's mind. Natalia shivered in horror, keeping her pulse rate down and her head held high showing she would not back down in a fight. This i admired, ill admit. Natalia has short blond hair and golden eyes that show right through to herself. She is brave and never backs down, like i said before. "I am not sure. They have not had a date or time yet sir. Would you like for me to send Mark back down to check it out?" An idea pulled at the back of my mind and i sat down in my seat, swiveling to where i could see my maid.

"No. What if we surprise them by attacking first? We take Jason hostage and maybe even the old bat she calls her mother too. Then Avalon will come for them. We take her and kill the other too. Easy plan, easy enough even for the dumbest of this pack. Make sure everyone is ready. For we attack tomorow. Early in the morning." My maid bowed in respect, leaving quietly, the silence now eating away at me.

Jason's POV

'Sir something is wrong.' Jack, one of my friends from my pack told me through mind link. 'Whats wrong Jack?' I asked. My mind was running through all the things that could go wrong with something if it has Jack worried. 'Its Levin. Alpha of the Red Moon pack. He has been reported of acting really strange lately. Mostly today. I don't know what it is but it has to be something.' My face heated up with pure anger at the sound of that jerk. Why would he even show or breathe his sorry breath on this earth what with him attacking my Avalon and her parents. Seriously, only one of the parents made it out alive then! 'Thank you for telling me Jack.' I said. No reply, but that was normal for him. "Avalon!" I yelled out through the house. She had fallen asleep in my arms after we all talked and she drank from the girl. She was one girl i didn't want to make mad, ever. Seeing her like that was awesome, she was like a bullet that just got shot out of a gun and there was no way of slowing her down. After she fell asleep i had taken her upstairs to her room. As soon as i walked in i could feel the dislike for this room radiating from Ava. I could see why. The room looked nothing like her. Her personality was so different than this place. I already knew Avalon's favorite color was Red, not due to the likes of blood, but just because she liked the color. Pink was one of her least favorite colors despite being a girl.

Soft footsteps came down the stairs moments later with a sleep written Ava. "Have a good nap?" I asked teasingly. She smiled sleepily at me and nodded. "How would you like to go see my mum with me? She wants to meet you a lot." Her face turned cherry red and she looked like she was about to fall the rest of the way. I ran to catch her, laughing at her shyness about meeting my mum.
