Jason's POV (After Ava left)

"Hey man have you seen Ava?" I asked some random guy. I really wanted to talk to her this morning about everything. Maybe i should wait till later but my wolf is too excited to wait...and frankly, i am too. The guy looked confused and shook his head. "Nah man, never heard of someone named Ava before. I don't think there are any at this school." My head fell slightly but i kept a straight face and thanked him before starting off to another person. Jemma is her best friend, she would know where Ava is. My pace was quickening and my excitement almost got the best of me before there was a slight tap at my shoulder. I stop and turn around to face the boy i was just talking to. "Yeah?" I ask annoyed. He backed up a little bit, stood up straighter, shrugged giving up, and said "Yeah Avalon, right? Avalon Moore?" He asked slowly as if he was talking to a kindergartner. My wolf tried to come out and i had to resist tearing this guy apart. No one talks to the future Alpha of the Gold Moon pack like that. Actually, no one talks to any Alpha that way unless you too are an Alpha. "Yeah Avalon! Have you seen her this morning?" Almost every emotion was etched into my voice and i let him hear it so he would know not to make me angry. Obviously this guy is not the brightest star in the sky. He smirked not knowing what could happen and spoke again. "Yeah she is the nerd or the outcast" he pointed out by crinkling his fingers together in a sarcastic way. "Of the school. Only one girl hangs out with her. I think her name is Jimmy." "Jemma." I corrected. He nodded but continued. "No one really hangs out with them two. Strange things start off when they are around. I don't think its really Jimmy, but Avalon. As of seeing her this morning though? Haven't seen her, even if i had i would try to erase the memory from my brain quickly." He said then began to walk away sporting this horrible type of walk. Was that even a walk? Also i owe him a good few blows to the head for insulting my mate. No one does that either, too anyone's mate though. All male mates are extremely possessive of their mates and will almost kill any other male they see with their mate. If anyone ever insults or injures their mate, accident or not, your lucky if you live. This time i let my wolf smell around the air to see if he can track her down. I need to know where my Avalon is. But first i am going to find Jemma. Where there is Jemma, most likely there will be Ava.

Jemma's POV

"Gah. I wish i had a mate. Then i would be so much happier like Avaboo and Jason...?" I paused to think. "Hmmm. I don't have a nickname for Jason. Time to conjure up my awesome nickname making skills. Lets see here, he is very tall, very strong, very good looking, smart, and if he wasn't Ava's mate and boyfriend i think i would have asked him out a dozen times until he said yes." Giggling at myself i take a bite from my sandwich. Yummy! Peanut butter and jelly, love this stuff. "Jemma! Have you seen Ava?" Jason asked. "Ahhhhhh! Don't do that you giant softie! You bout scared the peanut off of my butter!" I yelled at Jason. I had almost dropped my sandwich. I mean seriously, the guy basically popped out of no where. He smiled at me apologetically and i sighed taking a sip from my orange juice that somehow managed to not get knocked over this time. "Yes i have seen Avaboo this morning. She actually went out looking for you. She thought you were hurt or something." I stiffled a laugh. "Somehow she even came up with the thought that you could be dead." Then i paused seeing the worried look on Jason's face. He never was worried. Or at least that I have seen. "I have to go. The woods isn't a safe place by herself." And with that Jason was running through the cafeteria doors. De ja vu went through me as I remembered the way Ava had done the same thing a few days earlier. Wait. "Wait a minute! Jason hold up! Wait on me!" I screamed towards Jason earning a few crazy looks and scowls in my direction. I don't care what they think. My legs picked up pace but it was hard to keep up with Jason going the speed he was. "I want to come with you!" I said trying to follow him. He glanced back at me and stared at me before sighing and said "You would still come even if I said you couldn't, wouldn't you?" A grin makes its way to my face and I nod my head. Jason gestures for me to follow and I do and fifteen minutes later (what? I am a slow walker) we are running around the woods looking for my best friend in the world. "Ava! Avalon! Avaboo! Where are you?" I shouted out only hearing Jason running every now and then and the sound of my voice echoing through the air. The affect was quite creepy really. The sun was shining brightly and the clouds were no where to be seen. Obviously you would think that we could find Ava lickety split, but nooooooo it had to be extremely hard.

We spent about an hour searching, but still no signs of Ava. I wasn't really worried before, now though, the desperateness to find Ava was scaring me a little and I could already tell that Jason was getting fed up with this situation. He was going to burst, and he would burst soon. "Jason we will find her. If we don't find her then she will find us. She has always had this type of built in GPS navigational system or something. I am sure she is okay." I stand completely corrected. "Jason!" The screaming frightened and aggravated voice came from none other than my sister Avalon. I would seriously stink with giving helpful advice. It would always come to bite me in the end. Huh, bite me. Haha.

Jason's POV

"Don't worry Avalon I'm coming! Jemma is here too!" I grabbed Jemma's arm quickly and ran to where I heard the voice the best. The smell of rogue engulfed me like a thick fog as soon as I saw Ava. She wasn't the rogue but the guy she was sitting on defiantly was. 'HE IS TOO CLOSE FOR MY COMFORT FOR OUR MATE' My wolf said. He was angry about it and so was I but I think (no,I know) that my wolf is way more dangerous and unstable than I am. Ava saw me and smiled her gorgeous smile and did something that I immediately gave her admiration for. She punched the guy so hard in the head that his eyes rolled back and she gazed hungrily at his neck. I realized that she hasn't eaten in a while and this would be hard for her as it was her first human meal. Jeez I make her sound like a freaken cannibal. I waved my hand towards the dude and she smiled sheepishly at me, her eyes a golden fiery color, and in one swift motion was gulping up as much as she could take in. "Sorry about that." Avalon said after she was through. Jemma stared at the boys body for a few seconds before Ava began to laugh, get up and hug Jemma tightly. "Don't worry Jem, he isn't dead just has to heal. I took a little more than I intended to but he will defiantly live." I stood motionless completely dumbstruck at how amazing this girl/ vampire really was. You know, all of my life I have been trained to believe that vampires were nothing but evil and heartless bloodsuckers, but they do have a heart and they are not all evil. Ava would probably cry if she hurt a fly!
