Yes, I totally screamed my head off. Why? Well because there are two freaken fangs sticking out from my mouth! That is why! My first thoughts weren't, 'oh my gosh I'm a vampire!' Or 'who am I going to eat first?'. My first thought was "Oh holy crap what is Jemmy going to think when she finds out that her best friend is a vampire!" I was giggling at the thoughts of scaring her half to death with these babies but then reality struck as I now know what my mom was talking about last night. "Nothing has happened yet. Maybe she will be like her father. Maybe she won't change. She knew all along." I whispered to myself. "And she didn't tell me!" I squealed quite agitated. I heard a strange bubbling sound and then the sound of pounding feet coming towards the bathroom. "Avalon! Avalon, are you okay darling?" My mother and father screamed. Instantly I racked my brain for an idea and smiled when I realised that it would totally work. "Sorry, I saw a ha-uge spider on my towel and it scared the crap out of me!" I yelled back. You see? I am horrified of spiders and everyone who knows me or has ever met me knows that. My parents sighed and walked away from the door. Good I am safe now. As they began to leave the bubbling sound began to fade and I realised with disgust that what I was hearing was blood. My stomach growled at the thought of it but I was able to contain it. I brushed my fangs and my teeth and curled the bottom of my hair quickly. I came downstairs moments later pulling down a bowl, milk, and a box of lucky charms. Lucky charms is my favourite cereal next to Frosted Flakes. I had my food ready when the house phone started to ring, I zoomed over and picked it up. "Hello?" Jemmy asked me. I didn't reply. The thing was when I zoomed over here, I seriously zoomed. Must be some type of weird vampire thing. Anyways! "Hey Jemmy!" I chirped into the phone. "Hey Ava! Good morning my lovely!" Jemmy replied using a terrible British accent. I laughed knowing that she knew it was a terrible accent for her. "Well I would like to hear you try a British accent miss British girl!" She yelled jokingly into the phone. I smiled triumphantly, I have been working on my accent for months and I think that I have perfected it. "Ello govna! Woul you like a spo o tea?" Jemmy gasped and said "No fair! How come you sound like a total Britain and I sound like...like... I don't even know what I sound like!" She remarked. "It helps if you practice! I have been practicing for months." I said pulling the cord along so I could eat my cereal. 'But I have been practicing for a year.' I heard in my head. I chuckled at my best friend "If you have been practicing for a year and you still have not got it down, then try to use a French accent. That may work." I whispered after I put a spoonful of charms in my mouth. Ewww! They tasted awful! And then I swallowed the cereal. "How did you hear that? I didn't even say it...I... I thought it!" Jemmy squeaked excitedly. Having no time to reply I say "Hey Jemmy I got to go now! See ya at school!" Then I slammed the phone down and headed straight towards the bathroom where all of my breakfast and cake from last night showed up in the toilet. "Wha? What just happened? I don't feel sick and Lucky Charms has never made me throw up before." I mumbled to myself. I flushed the toilet and tossed out the rest of my cereal. I used my speed to zip up to my room, grab my book bag, snatched up my keys, and ran to my car. My car is a bright red Volkswagen. Or as some people call it, a 'Punch Buggy' or a 'Slug Bug.'" As soon as I laid eyes on my car my stomach growled again. Red. The colour of blood. This time it was a little worse and I lurched forward in pain. "Oooooh. When I get home maybe I can..." I tried to think about what a vampire would do. "Zip on in the woods and find me a rabbit or something." I added quietly. Slamming my car door shut I check myself in the mirror. "No fangs. Good. The cereal must have applied to my human side and made them go away for now. Do I still have a human side?" I pondered this thought before looking at the clock. "It is 6:47! I am going to be late for school!" I blurted out loudly as I tried to crank up my car. It spluttered a few times before going completely dead on me. "Ahhhh, crap!" I screamed banging my fist on the steering wheel. Sadly my fist went straight through my steering wheel and I pulled back my fist in surprise. "Great! Now I am going to have to get this fixed too! But on a totally different note...I have super strength!" I laughed but then thought about what was going on again and I got out of my car slamming the door shut again. "Well" I said smirking at no one in particular. "It looks like I am going to have to run to school." My smile was very wide. Tightening up my backpack straps I get ready and play along with my joke/not joke. "Get ready. Set. Go!" I yelled happily and zoomed through every turn and corner until I made it to school. Deciding it would be a bad idea to just stop in front of the school I zipped to the back of the school and walked in acting like I parked out back.
