*A very random sunny spring happy few hours later*
E.J's POV:
The show has gone on. I'm King Ben. Ricky is Harry Hook. Nini is Mal. Val is Evie. Kourtney is Uma. Jet is not here so Maddox is filling in as a female Carlos. I think it's pretty cool. Maddox is human again. And Miss Jenn is Ricky's godmother?!
It's been a rollercoaster ride since the hurricane and surprisingly, everyone remembered their lines and lyrics.
A fake lightning sound struck Kourtney's direction while she pretended to wade in the water. That is my cue. My turn to speak.
Kourtney made her evil laugh sound. Then all of a sudden Nini's eyes started glowing. She had offered to temporarily use her powers on stage just for this moment and Miss Jenn let it magically happen.
It is so surreal to see what mermaids can do on land.
"What are you gonna do Ben? Splash me." I hear Kourtney cackle as I stand with Nini who has turned herself into a purple sea dragon.
I don't know how she did that but wow.
"It's got to stop. This isn't the answer. The fighting has got to stop. Nobody is going to win this way." I look back towards Nini and then at Kourtney as I move my legs to pretend to swim on stage.
"We have to listen and respect each other. It's not going to be easy. But we're gonna try. Uma, I know you want what's best for the isle. Help me make a difference." I yell at Kourtney as the audience watches us then all of a sudden, Kourtney hands me Maddox's moon ring and places it in my palm.
Maddox gave up her powers.
The moon ring is going to a safe place with Miss Jenn after it's being used as a prop for the show.
Once Mads who plays Carlos helped me back onto the boat part of the stage, I look over at Nini who had transformed into a princess, and hear her say the wrong line.
What's going on?
This is not in the script that Miss Jenn wrote or the movie.
"So, I did not know that. I could do that." I hear Nini say to Gina.
Wait-what?
Nini is supposed to say that to Val who plays Evie.
Gina is supposed to be a princess in the ensemble.
"Tell me about it. That makes two of us. Oh, yeah!" I watch Gina grasp onto Nini's hand and kiss it then lead her towards me.
What is happening?
I watch Nini as she leans into kiss me then immediately moves her petite body away and puts Ricky's in front of me instead of hers.
What is going on?
King Ben and Harry Hook don't get along in Descendants 2.
Did they plan this?
Does Ricky know this is happening?
"How about that godson of mine?" I see Miss Jenn call from her director's chair.
This is not part of the show.
What did Nini and Gina do?
"I think we're in good hands here." I look over and see Nini wink at me then see Ricky's moon ring glow.
