I woke up to the smell of breakfast.

I got up and went upstairs. Mom was sitting there with a cup of coffee.

"Mornin." she stated bored.

"Mornin." I replied. "You sound tired, whatchu make?"

She pointed to the counter top. "Waffles and eggs and bacon."

"mmmh!"

"I am tired. We've only been here for two days and I already have so much work to do!" my mom complained. "I probably won't be home a lot, like how it was before we moved, but more."

"Oh." I said simply, shoving food in my mouth.

"Yeah!" She countered.

Kayline and Lilly both came up the stairs.

My mom looked at us and smiled. "If y'all we're going to just sleep in Aj's room I coulda got a 1 bedroom house with a basement!" We all laughed a little.

After breakfast I asked my mom to use the car to go to the mall in Port Angeles. Might as well get some shopping in, since we had school tomorrow.

We were going to La Push high. Sounded like a drag.

I'd probably drive past it on the way home... just to see what to expect.

I asked Kayline and Lilly to go with me. They agreed so we got dressed and headed off.

It was going to be one of those slow easy days.

After picking a few outfits, eating at the food court and talking about what we were expecting of school we left and I drove to the school.

It took us about 30mins. to get there from the mall. There were three buildings. It wasn't very big at all, like the schools we were used to.

"Its so small!" Kayline stated bluntly.

"At least we won't get lost." I told her.

"Less ratchets!" Lilly said.

I laughed. "You're so silly!" I directed at Lilly,"Wanna go to the beach guys?"

"Yeah." they both said in unison. I really didn't feel like going home right away. I really liked the beach.

We got to the beach, and it were as if someone was throwing a huge picnic. I seen people I knew there too, well the only people I knew there. Jacob, Quil, Embry, and Seth.

"Welp, they must be having a powwow, lets leave." Lilly said throwing her hands up in mock frustration. She made me laugh with her silliness sometimes.

I agreed. "Yeah let's go!"

As I was getting in the car I looked back at Jake again.

There was this girl with chocolate eyes, and brown hair, pale-ish skin and he had his arm around her.

I got mad for a split second. Really mad. So mad in fact that I could have just walked over there and punched them both.

Then I calmed down. I couldn't be mad. How could I? We were just friends, and we'd just met two days ago. And, she was gorgeous. As the angry thought flashed through my head I just got in the car. Slammed the door, and drove off. why did I feelings for Jacob that shouldn't have been there.

We got to the house. I took my stuff in, picked an outfit for school tomorrow and then I went upstairs and told Lilly and Kayline I was taking a nap.

"you're okay?" Kayline asked.

"Yeah, just tired." yeah, of my bullshit life. I trudged downstairs to find comfort in the dream world.
