Chp 27: "what a shocker 2"

Currently it was the middle of the night as we see Sam whose asleep with Gwen in her bed, Sam was currently going through a nightmare, he keeps getting images of him failing to save Gwen, flashes of her making impact to the ground keeps appearing in his nightmare as he sturs in his sleep, Gwen wakes up as she notices this and immediately wakes him up

Gwen: Sam, Sam!

Sam bolts up as he breaths heavily and Gwen was holding him tightly as she stroked his hair

Gwen: you're okay, I'm here for you...it'll be okay

As the sun rose, Sam woke up as he felt Gwen holding his arm, he looked down to see her gorgeous peaceful face as she was mildly drooling while sleeping, she looked so cute as Sam plants a kiss on her forehead, Sam gets out of bed without waking her up as he suits up and opens the window of Gwen's room, then her voice called out to him

Gwen: you heading off already?

Gwen said while she was still in bed as Sam looked behind him

Sam: I gotta go after shocker, he's heading to a sable outpost in Harlem, I dont know why but I can't wait and see

Gwen: just be safe out there

Sam nods as he jumps out the window and swings around the city as he calls Peter

Peter: hey Sam, I've updated George and Yuri and vulture and electro were sent back to the raft

Sam: nice, I assume your going after scorpion?

Peter: yeah, he's going after water treatment, the city's already on the brink, if we lose clean water then we might never come back, what's your move?

Sam: I'm going after shocker, he's headed to a sable outpost in Harlem, I'm not sure why tho, I'll update you when I make progress

Peter: deal

Sam hangs up as he swings his way to Harlem as he spots the outpost, he lands on the middle of it as he sees multiple body's of sable agents, Sam the calls MJ as he requested information

Sam: hi MJ, im at a sable outpost in Harlem cus shocker was assigned by Otto to head to this location, could you find any leads as to why

MJ: let's see here...

MJ crunches some numbers as she gets information

MJ: oh, it says here that that outpost is holding Oscorp scientists who are holding records for payroll on the antiserum

Sam: that's it...shocker was assigned by Otto to kill the scientists and steal the projects payroll records, I gotta make sure the scientists are safe...thanks MJ

Sam says as he hangs up and enters a trap door as he entered a secret room, Sam then hears some.screaming from the end of the hall as he saw Herman holding a scientists by the throat as others were tied up in a corner

Scientist: please...stop

Shocker: nothing personal, just business

Shocker said as he was about to kill the man but Sam shoots a web at him and pull him in for a kick as he was sent into a wall, Sam then uses his webs as the dark webs move behind the scientists and break three bindings

Sam: run

The scientists get up as they leave the room leaving only Sam and shocker

Sam: hey Herman, I missed you man...how was the raft?, I hope it was good because surprise, you'll be going back

Shocker: you shouldn't have come here kid, I don't want to hurt you

Sam: you know you're not like the way Spidey describes you, he always said you were hotheaded and aggressive, but you're more empathetic and vigilant
