Chp 73: "the truth..."

Currently we see Sam, Gwen and ganke helping miles into his home as he was limping, Sam headed to the bathroom to look for antibiotics and a wash cloth but he couldn't find any as he entered the living room

Sam: I'm gonna go grab some antibiotics from my place, I'll be right back

Sam said as he ran out of the apartment as Gwen spoke as well

Gwen: I'll get some pain killing cream from my place

Ganke: ill go get some stuff at the store

Miles: alright....

The two left the apartment as miles sat on the couch and tried to stay still, that was until a light turned on as Rio entered

Rio: miles?, where have you...*gasp* (what happened?!)

Rio ran over to her son in worry until she noticed his suit

Rio: what are you wearing...

Miles looked down for a bit as he looked back at him mother

Miles: I have to tell you something...

We cut to Sam swinging through the window of his house as he runs to the kitchen to try and find antibiotics in the cabinets, Sam finds some bottles u til he hears a voice behind him

Julie: Sam...

Sam freezes as he widens his eyes and looks behind him to see his mother who was shocked by what she was seeing

We cut to the two suiting down on the couch across from eacother as Sam was looking down

Sam: I was gonna tell yo-

Julie: don't pull that with me, what did I tell you?, what do I keep telling you?

Sam: mom I...

Julie: you run the other way Sam, that's what I told Jason...I mean...after everything...after everything that's happened, you come at me with this!

Sam: I didn't ask for this mom!...I didn't ask for any of this...but i have to do this, i have to...

Julie: no, you do not have to do anything, your seventeen years old!

Sam: which gives me a more moral reason to do this, I'm practically an adult mom, I can make my own decisions...and I know i have to do this

Sam said as Julie starts to well up tears as she spoke

Julie: Sam...why are you doing this to me?....i-i don't want you to go out and put yourself in danger...I can barley sleep when you come home late

Sam: but mom i-

Julie: your father died doing nothing!...his only crime...was living...loving...me...you...

Julie said as she started to cry

Julie: and your here...telling me...that you go out and look for people...like the ones that killed him?...i-i don't know if I can support that Sam, If you were killed I...I wouldn't have even known about it....I don't wanna lose you too

Julie says as she drops to her knees and holds Sams hands and grips them tightly

Sam: I have a responsibility...

Sam said as Julie looked at his son

Julie: what...?

Sam kneels down to her level as he speaks

Sam: I failed him mom, I really did...I have so much to tell you...and I want to, but I'll save it for another time because right now Harlem is In danger, but what I do wanna say is that...that everything I've done eversince he was taken from us...is trying to make things right, I could never hide this from you, I get that now....I don't need you to accept this mom I just....i just need you to understand
