□□ Mako □□

He'd been in many caves, but this cave was so strange in his mind.

The steady dripping of water coming from the stone around Mako gave both a soothing feeling and a feeling of dread.
Lifting the torch above his head, he could make out the winding tunnel beginning to make a descent further underground.

Interesting…

Keeping his left hand on his sword, he continued to explore the cave.

The sound of bones caused him to stop and jump backwards, narrowly missing an arrow that was level with his head.
Just as fast as the arrow had flown toward him, the player had drawn his sword and pulled his shield from his back, glaring at the skeleton that had turned the corner.

"Well, aren't you lucky? You're the first skeleton I've seen down here!" He laughed, moving his shield to catch another arrow, "Where's your troop, eh?"
The skeleton rattled angrily and fired again, hitting the stone by his feet.
"Fighting dirty, I see. If I was my brother, I'd fight dirty too, but I don't see a point in that." Mako continued, blocking another arrow as he inched closer, "And as much as I would have loved to continue talking to you," He launched forward after another arrow and slammed his sword into the skeleton's body, swiping again as the monster's jaw opened in rage and crumbled into a heap of lifeless bones.

Mako looked down at the pile and picked up a bone that still looked intact, "I'm sorry. If you don't mind though, you can help me care for my garden."

He went quiet, listening for any other mobs to come attack him like usual. They often packed up too, so this one was peculiar.

Probably a scout.

Looking back down to the bones, they gave a blue-ish hue as his sword faintly lit the cave from the enchantments he added years ago.

Doesn't seem like there's anything else, but I'll be careful.

Returning his sword to its sheath, he kept his shield up as he picked up the torch he dropped as he drew his sword and continued his trip.

He followed the cave as it went deeper, keeping a sharp eye out for any more hidden mobs waiting to ambush him.
After what seemed like ten minutes of walking, his feet landed on something that felt similar to the stone he had been walking on but almost as squishy as moss.

Mako's green eyes looked down to see some sort of black and blue substance that began to fill the cave.

His eyes widened as he scanned the cave for anything hostile before switching his shield for his journal. Giving a quick sketch of the block, Mako picked his things back up and trekked forward.

A strange sound echoed through the cave as vine-light tentacles gave a shake, glowing as it did. It was strangely aligned with his footsteps.

Curious, Mako stopped, watching the thing stop shaking just a moment after.
He took a step and watched it twitch, making another noise.

It reacts to movement or sound… That's so neat!

Crouching, he took a few more steps as quietly as he could and smiled as the thing didn't move.

Yep, sounds!

Continuing to walk in a crouched position, Mako watched as vines were replaced by similar looking blue and black tentacles and fuzz that took up most of the cave now.

He was so caught up in examining the area, he didn't realize the cave had yawned open to reveal a huge underground city.

Mako turned and gave a gasp, not listening to more strange blocks making the strange warble sound in response.
The structures were magnificent and decayed with age.
