”TO BE a perfect wife, first, you must serve your husband.” Harley answers Infantes’ question sincerely.

Their hopeless romantic cardiologist. She almost rolled her eyes. She can’t really imagine herself getting married with some rich boring billionaire years from now and she’ll be a headache trophy wife. But the idea of her husband spoiling her with unlimited shopping excites her.

“I know what you are thinking Chanel Hope. Of course, you’ll get what you want but in relationship, it’s give and take. Just like Harley said. You also have to serve your husband.” Infantes said.

“Like what? I’ll linis his sapatos, do his tie, cook his meal and prepare him a lunch box?” She said while laughing a little.

The other girls were also giggling except Ate Hera who had undestructible stoic face. Pero na-stop din ang tawanan when Infantes’ face becomes serious.

“If that’s what you husband wants.” Infantes said coldly.
That’s when her smile totally faded.

“I did not spend my buhay here in Hiraeth to be someone’s yaya.” She object.

“Chanel, you will not become a maid. It’s your responsibility as a wife.” Harley objects softly.

“What if I don’t want to be a typical wife?” Hera asked Infantes.

“Then, there’s a high chance of fail marriage. And you know Benjamin loathes failure and that’s why you are here to train to be a pefect wife. You don’t wanna be like us, Benjamin girls on your upper generation, whose marriage is almost failing because we don’t wanna be a typical wife.” Infantes said highlighting the ‘typical wife’ while staring at Hera coldly.

The atmosphere becomes heavier. It feels like they trigger a sensitive spot to Infantes Clover and Hera doesn’t seem sorry. Mas lalo pa silang nini-nervous when Ate Hera stood up from her upuan.

“Then, I’ll find one who doesn’t want me to be a typical wife. Someone who’ll accept me as who I am.” Hera said coldly.

“Don’t trick me about finding someone, Hera because we know you don’t want to get married. And you all know from the start that you can’t find your own husband, because we will be the one that will pick for you.” Infantes said.

“I have to go. I still have mission. I won’t be back until the next day.” Hera just said and pick up her phone.

Hera left. Being on her spot is not really easy, she knew how Hera hates marriage and his family has been picking good guys for her but days after lalabas na lang ang baho ng mga guys. Most of them try to drug her and she’s traumatized on Hera’s situation.

What if it will happen to her also?

Infantes looked at her, muntik na siyang ma-choke sa sariling saliva.

“You’ll be attending the party tomorrow in behalf of Hera. As for you, we are already eyeing for your future husband. He’s the heir of the Smith Empire. His name is Klaz. I’m hoping you’ll get along with him.” Striktang saad ng Infantes.

She can’t help but to smile widely in excitement when she heard the word party. Whatever her reason is why she’s going, wala na siyang care. She loves elite party!

“The proper smile, Chanel Hope.” Saway ng Infantes.

Agad na pumormal naman ang ngiti niya.

“Yes, Infantes.”
