"Alright, the place has officially been booked!" Nick announced from the back seat with happiness.
"Oooh tell us about it!" Aubrey said enthusiastically. "It's got a pool, sauna, spa, gym, breakfast bar, restaurant, bar, basically everything you could imagine!" Nick said excitedly.
"How much was it?" Matt asked, knowing Nick was gonna use their shared card.
"Surprisingly not that much." Nick said, looking out the window. "Want me to Venmo?" Chloe asked. "No it's all good, we got you." Nick said with a smile.
"No, how much is it?" Chloe asked firmly. "Not. Saying." Nick glared playfully. "Just tell me!" She laughed. "No." Nick simply replied.
"Don't even bother. He's too stubborn." Chris said calmly. "Yeah you're right." Chloe said, sighing deeply. "I'm not that stubborn.." Nick said quietly after a moment. Everyone burst out laughing, including Nick.
Time Skip!
"Wow Nick, great picking. This place is beautiful.." Hailey said slowly, admiring the hotel as they walked in the entrance.
There were tall walls that lead to sky high ceilings, with a big, beautiful, crystal chandelier hanging in the centre of the roof. There were beautiful red carpets rolled into pathways along the lobby floors with a big marble desk in the corner that was labelled 'reception'. You could see the breakfast bar at the back wall, with so much food, ready to be eaten.
"Damn Nick has amazing taste." Chloe said slowly. "Okay, you guys wait here, I'll quickly go check us in." Nick said before walking towards the gorgeous desk.
"Hello sir, are you here to check in?" The middle-aged man asked politely. "Yes please." "And what was the name?" "Sturn-" Nick started before cutting himself off.
He had looked out of the tall glass window-walls to see the most gorgeous boy, strutting down the walkway. Nick's mouth hung open in disbelief. Nick's eyes scanned the boy, his smile, his clothes, his skin. Everything.
His lovely, curly brunette hair was bouncing in the wind as his bright smile shone at everyone he walked past.
Everything about him was perfect.
"Unfortunately we don't have any rooms booked under the name 'Sturn' and we don't take any walk ins. Are you sure it wasn't another name?" The man asked, trying to get Nick's attention back to the check in.
Nick continued to stare out of the window until he sadly couldn't see the boy anymore. He turned back to see the man staring at him, waiting for something.
"Hm, sorry what?" Nick asked, apologetically. "I said that we don't have any rooms booked under the name 'Sturn' and we don't take any walk ins, are you sure it wasn't a different name?" He asked again, his tone a little impatient but still keeping his kind smile.
"Oh it was under 'Sturniolo', sorry about that." Nick said, fumbling through his pocket for his wallet.
"Okay, here it is. For 8 nights, three rooms and all available add ons, that's $1732 on card?" He asked. "Yes that's right." Replied Nick.
Nick quickly paid and hurried back over to the others. "All done guys, let's go find our rooms!" Nick said excitedly as everyone got up and dragged their luggage behind Nick.
But Nick couldn't stop the deep thoughts of that gorgeous boy he saw earlier. Would he ever see him again? Would he ever get to talk to him? He sure did hope so, otherwise this trip was about to be a lot of deep thinking.
