Deep Thoughts || Nick Sturniolo

50!!!!!!!!!

"It's our last night here, that's so insane." Chris said, looking at Vanessa who kept her eyes to the table, not looking at him once.

"We have been here for 2 weeks but it feels like 2 years!" Hailey said and everyone laughed.

"It has been quite a rollercoaster." Nick said as they all discussed their favourite parts, although there weren't many.

"For the time you guys have been here, it's been a real big shit show. Like absolute chaos. But I wouldn't have changed it." Vanessa said, sending Chris a tiny smile to which he blushed like crazy.

"Really? I mean I would have changed a bit. Maybe the tornado.. or meeting Lucas." Chloe stated humorously and everyone giggled.

They finished their dinner and headed back to the hotel, finishing up payments and flight tickets.

"Nick and I are just going to go on a walk." Aiden said, softly grabbing Nick's hand and pulling him up from the couch he was sitting on excitedly.

"We are?" He said, putting his phone in his pocket as Aiden gave him a 'damn well we are' look.

"Bro, it's 11 o'clock." Chris said, turning to the sleeping girl next to him, admiring her cute face as she slept soundly.

"And?" Nick said sassily and Chris put his hands up in defence and shrugged.

"Okay we're going." Aiden said quickly, dragging Nick out of the hotel room.

"Have fun!" Matt called out but they were already gone.

They strolled down to the hotel lobby, leaving the hotel, heading for the nearby picnic spot. There was barely anyone out, so they held hands all the way there, chatting happily.

"You craved me so much that you needed to kidnap me?" Nick asked and Aiden laughed.

"Yep." They both stopped and Aiden looked around.

When he noticed that there wasn't anyone around, he turned back to Nick, pulling him close. Butterflies exploded in Nick's stomach, causing him to smile widely.

"Do you want to be my boyfriend?" Nick asked quickly and Aiden looked surprised.

"Nevermind. It was a dumb idea." Nick said, stepping away looking embarrassed.

"No. I do want to be your boyfriend." Aiden smiled and Nick was taken by surprise.

"You don't have to, y'know." Nick said as Aiden shook his head vigorously.

"No, I want to. I really really like you Nick. I just need to figure myself out. I don't know if I'm gay.. but I'm definitely not straight." He said and Nick nodded knowingly, understanding how he felt.

"It's okay. Take your time. It took me a while to figure out myself. There's no rush." Nick smiled and pulled Aiden into a hug.

When they pulled apart, Aiden looked around, noticing that there was still no one around. He pulled Nick in, their faces only inches apart.

Nick sealed their lips together, breaking the space between them. They both smiled into the kiss, deepening it with every second.

Butterflies soared through Aiden's stomach, making him feel like he was on top of the world.

They broke apart, slightly panting to catch their breaths, laughing.

"I'll race you to the grass." Nick said and started sprinting without any warning.

"That's not fair!" Aiden said, starting to run after him.

Nick reached the grass field first, flopping down in it, super tired. Aiden was right behind him at the point, flopping next to him.

They both looked at each other before laughing.

"I'm really glad I met you." Nick said, taking Aiden's hand as there wasn't anyone around.

The beautiful night sky filled with sparkly stars looked down upon them, drowning them in the dark, the moon their only light.

In the soft light, all they could hear were distant crickets among the tall grass, creaking every now and then.

The fresh scent of the fresh air around them filled their noses, the warmth of happiness spreading through their chests.

"I'm happy I met you too. It was just unexpected." He said and Nick laughed.

"I'm so happy you guys are coming back to LA with us." Nick said, Aiden shuffling into a cuddly position, his head resting on Nick's chest.

"I can't wait to meet your dog!" Aiden replied and they both smiled.

"You're lucky he's staying at our place for a couple weeks whilst our parents are out." Nick laughed and they continued to cuddle in tight.
