Deep Thoughts || Nick Sturniolo

Chris walked through the door of Matt's room to see Vanessa, Aiden, Nick and Matt all piled onto Matt's bed watching a movie.

Chris stumbled in, his mind a blur and silently cussing himself for not moving when Chloe was making her move. He had just made it worse by letting her do it.

But something inside him, and about her, made him stop and just feel. He felt her cold touch, her soft fingers grazing his thigh. He hated himself for thinking about her when he knew that he loved Vanessa, didn't he?

Once he sat down on Aubrey's bed he looked over to the beautiful Vanessa laying cutely on the bed, squished between Aiden and Nick comfortably. He looked over her features carefully, and noticed the slight smile she had, her blue eyes glimmering and her light skin glowing.

He smiled, but then suddenly remembered what had happened and there was a dull feeling in his heart. A guilty feeling.

He pulled out his phone to distract himself and didn't even notice the blonde get up and walk over to him, laying on the bed next to him, eyes still in the tv. It was when she grabbed his empty hand and held it when he realised that she was next to him.

He smiled at her, covering up the guilt that was swallowing him whole. Why was he still thinking about Chloe?

He smoothed himself out and held Vanessa hand sweetly, looking deep into her ocean eyes and drowning himself in them, leaving no room for distractions or...Chloe.

He suddenly found himself kissing her, infront of the others. She was taken aback for a second, before leaving into the kiss, separating after a moment.

He then found himself still holding her hand whilst standing up and leading her out of the door in a hurry back to his room for more privacy.

The others were a little shocked and thought that they were going back to his room to makeout or something so they didn't bother going after them.

Aiden then realised that the space between him and Nick was still empty, so he decided to shuffle over more, enough so that there legs were touching. Matt was laying at the front of the bed so he couldn't see what they were doing. He was too involved in the movie to care anyway.

Nick immediately noticed his sudden change of position and blushed, thinking of how he thought his chances were over, but they weren't. How he thought he would never see him again, but he did. How he thought that he hated him, but he didn't. The universe had clearly brought them together again, and Nick really appreciated it. Like more than anything.

He scooted more into Aiden, before resting his head on his shoulder and feeling him cuddle into him a bit. Aiden smiled at Nick's sleepy head resting on his shoulder, thinking about how he had only really met him a couple hours ago.

They stayed like this for the rest of the movie, oblivious to what was actually happening in Chris's room..

Pov Change!

Chris pulled Vanessa delicately to his room, making sure to shut the door this time. He breathed for a second before leading Vanessa back to the bed, the same as before, except he was a lot more nervous this time.

He knew he loved Vanessa, and that Chloe couldn't ruin that even if she tried.

"What happened between you and Chloe?" Vanessa broke the silence before Chris could even think about what to say.

He didn't expect her to say anything so he stood there like a fool for a minute which made Vanessa a little nervous.

"Nothing really." Chris said, brushing it off, trying to change the subject.

"No, I can't tell something bad happened judged on how you are acting." She said, standing up to face him, a slow smile creeping on her face.

"You can tell me anything." She comforted, wanting him to tell her the truth.

"She tried to make a move on me after you left.." Chris trailed off, diverting his eyes away from hers, embarrassed.

"And?" Vanessa asked questioningly.

"And I didn't move when she did." He sighed, finally looking at her. "It was like my legs were stuck to the ground. I hate myself for not moving and I promise I love you. I've never liked her." Chris blurted, wanting to make things better although Vanessa didn't hear much after him saying that he didn't move.

She was frozen in place, a stunned expression plastered over her face. She sighed for a moment before slouching down onto the bed with a frown.

"Did anything actually happen?" She asked, a sad, weak feeling washing over her.

"No! I swear on my life nothing actually happened." Chris exclaimed, seeing that Vanessa was taking this hard.

"Then I guess it's alright." She said with a sad smile, before turning serious.

"But I don't want to catch you being like that with that girl again." She said and Chris put his hands up in surrender.

"I promise that I will not catch myself around Chloe ever again." He repeated professionally and Vanessa laughed slightly before taking his hand.

"I love you so much babe."

Will Chris break the promise? Will be do something with Chloe that he will regret or will Chloe mess everything up? The tension between the two is unreal! And Nick and Aiden are getting touchy too..do they like each other? But it can't be that easy, can it? Read on to find out!!
