Matt dropped off Vanessa and Aiden at the restaurant and came back, then everyone went to bed.

The next day, Chloe awoke to loud banging on their door, and she slowly stumbled out of bed, her feet dragging along the carpet lazily.

"Uuughhh. Make it stop." Hailey growned and shoved her face into her pillow in annoyance.

Chloe giggled at the girls reaction and the next moment, opened the door to see a man around their age standing there, looking desperate.

"Can I help y-" Chloe was cut off by the crazy boy.

"Is Nick here? I really need to speak to him." The boy blurted which made Chloe look confused. Who was this guy?

At this point, there was no way Hailey could fall back asleep so she got out of bed grumpily and stomped over to the front door, only for her eyes to widen and jaw to drop when she saw who was standing there.

Her face then turned to anger as she gently moved Chloe out of the way and stepped out into the hall, right in the poor boys face as he took a step back.

"What are you doing here?" Hailey asked through her gritted teeth, a finger pointing into his chest.

"No one wants you here Lucas."

"I know, I know, Hailey. But I have to talk to Nick." The boy said back which made Chloe raise her eyebrows. He knew who she was?

"No. No, you don't have to talk to Nick. So just get out of here." Hailey said, her face unfaltering.

Lucas took another step back and at this point was against the other side of the hall, but Hailey took another step towards him which just made him sigh.

"You really like being close to me, huh?" He smirked, making her backup an inch before she mumbled under her breath, barely audible.

"What are you really here for Lucas?" She stated confidently, seeing the smirk on his face slowly disappearing.

"I told you already. Now where is Nick? Is he in there?" He side-stepped Hailey to get around her before pushing his way through Chloe to get inside the room.

"HEY!" Hailey yelled, grabbing his shoulder to which he shrugged off her small hand easily, quickly scanning the room and not seeing Nick.

He turned back around to see Hailey shooting daggers at him through her eyes.

"You haven't changed one but, Lucas."

That sentence hit him like a brick wall and he suddenly realized what he was doing and how crazy he was acting.

"No, no. I've changed. I promise. I-"

"Get out Lucas. Just go. Nick doesn't need you. He's fine without you." Hailey said with a serious face, stinging Lucas's heart with her words.

"He's.. fine? He isn't upset?" Lucas asked, his facial expressions long gone now, just his doe eyes saying everything he needs to get out.

"It's been 2 years Lucas. Get over yourself." She said, stepping into the room, past Chloe who was absolutely speechless at this point.

"Okay. Then I'll just go." He whispered, mostly to himself as he silently begged the tears not to fall. But they did. As he stormed out of the room, grazing Haileys shoulder as he left.

But as Hailey's face still hadn't faltered, a single tear ran down her cheek.

What's Lucas gonna do about this one? Is he still gonna find Nick? And if so, what is he gonna say? Why does he need to talk to Nick so badly? Read on to find out!!
