"You ready Hailey?" Aubrey called out, looking at her phone. "Almost." Hailey called from the bathroom.

"I don't think we have had a girls day in so long." Hailey said, doing her makeup. Chloe got up and walked into the bathroom.

Hailey was about to add some concealer when Chloe stopped her. "What are you doing?" Hailey asked, confused.

"You don't need that." Chloe said smiling at her beautiful roommate in the mirror.

"Yes I do. I didn't get enough sleep last night and now I am covering the eye bags." She said, raising the concealer to her under eye before Chloe stopped her once again.

"You are beautiful as you are Hailey. You don't need makeup." She said, blushing. Hailey would have loved that comment, if it wasn't from Chloe.

Chloe had hurt her.

Chloe had betrayed her.

Chloe didn't love her.

Aubrey suddenly walked in which broke the awkwardness between the two. Hailey stared coldly at Chloe in the mirror as she applied the concealer to her under eyes.

"You guys alright?" Aubrey asked, sensing the tension between the two. "Not really." Chloe said, looking upset at Hailey for ignoring her.

Chloe then walked out and back into the room, flopping down on her bed as she picked up her phone and started scrolling on Instagram.

Aubrey looked at Hailey in the mirror, to see her not giving a care in the world.

"I thought you liked her." Aubrey whispered, trying to get an understanding of what was going on without Chloe hearing.

"I did. Not anymore." She admitted out loud for Chloe to hear. Chloe looked up at Hailey, who she could see from where she was as the door was open, with a sad expression on her face.

Hailey just rolled her eyes and continued to blend her concealer. She didn't feel any pity for Chloe. She did it to herself. She dug herself into this hole and Hailey wasn't going to do anything to help her out of it.

"Why? If you don't mind me asking." Aubrey asked, looking at Hailey, pitying Chloe even though she didn't know what happened.

"Because she hurt me Aubrey. She told me who she likes and it wasn't me. She led me on and then stabbed me in the back." Hailey blurted, turning around and looking Chloe dead in the eye.

Chloe sighed, and started to cry. Aubrey was taken aback by Hailey's quote and stepped out of the bathroom.

"Maybe you should talk to each other and that will help fix it." Aubrey suggested, feeling the tension rise with every second.

Hailey groaned and walked out of the bathroom, and right up to where Chloe was sobbing.

"You hurt me. That's why I am not talking to you. I have loved you for years and you have been giving me signals but I never knew when it was the right time to admit my feelings. You led me on, making me believe every word, every feeling. I trusted you. And just as I thought it was the right time, you stabbed me through my heart. When I was in my deepest low, you just made it worse." Hailey paused for a second before looking at Chloe dead in the eye.

"And I hate you for that."

Aubrey gasped at how much Hailey was bottling up.

Chloe had stopped looking at Hailey, her guilt swallowing her whole.

Chloe looked up at Hailey, tears streaming down her face, staring into Hailey's cold, emotionless face.

"I'm sorry." Chloe said so quietly, as it was all she could choke out on that moment.

"Yeah well sorry won't cut it." Hailey angrily said, but also in a calming way, before turning around and stomping out of the door.

But just before she walked out, she simply said: "Oh yeah, Aubrey, her heart belongs to Chris."

She walked out of the door to see Chris standing there, eyes wide. When Hailey saw him she finally let her guard down and letting the tears run down her face.

Chris just blankly stared for a moment, processing what Hailey had admitted about him, before hugging the crying girl in front of him, comforting her and stroking her hair.

Hailey just cried and cried for a moment, before feeling stupid for crying in front of Chris.

So she wiped her tears away before pulling away from Chris's hug, running away, feeling overwhelmed with emotion.

Chris just stood there for a second, before peaking in the hotel room door which Hailey hadn't closed, to see Aubrey hugging a sobbing Chloe.

Chloe looked up and saw Chris standing at the door with wide eyes.

He had heard everything.

Chloe looked at him, tears still running down her face. At this point she didn't even know what she thought about Chris anymore. She just wanted her best friend back.

She didn't mean to hurt her, she didn't know that she would hurt her, and she didn't want to hurt her.

She needed to tell her how she felt. Even if she didn't know how she felt.

She just needed to talk to her.

"Where is she?" Chloe asked, standing up and walking towards Chris who was still staring at her.

He cleared his throat before pointing the way that she had ran.

Chloe immediately darted down the hall, determined to find Hailey.
