The End - A TAWOG fanfiction

Note: FG stands for future Gumball. I'm sure you guys could figure that out, but I have a proposition. Anyone who can come up with a better nickname in the comments. I'll give it to him in the next chapter!

The rest of the group was eagerly awaiting an answer from this Future Gumball. All this was happening too fast for them, and it was rather stressful on their brains, but they needed an answer from this newcomer. What does he mean, writer.... this again, like most of the things that they've found out today doesn't make sense!

FG sat down on a big rock that was close by. Implying to the rest of the family , that would be a long explanation. They all intentively came closer, perking up their ears, and desperately needed an answer. At first, he gave a look of sincerity as he wasn't sure how they'd all react or even if they would understand.

FG took a deep sigh and looked up to see his good old family, giving them a weak smile. He then looked upon each of them before stopping his gaze on his past self. Then, looking back to the group as a whole. He slowly started to speak.

"OK, so you guys said you know that our world was a TV show, right?" He asked all of them.

All of them saying either yes or nodding in confirmation. Then FG continued to speak.

"Well, since this morning, you all technically have not been in your original world." He continued.

This was a pretty vague statement to them. None of them knew how to interpret that, so Nicole looked back at her future son.

"What do you mean our original world?" Nicole asked, concerned about his next statement.

"Alright, I'm just gonna say it all together, so stay with me here!" FG exclaimed.

They all nodded nervously and patiently listened. Feeling a pit in their stomachs slowly start to form.
I mean, what if they didn't like what they heard. What If it was something they weren't supposed to know, or didn't want to know. Most importantly, why was This Future version of Gumball so worried about telling them?

"OK, so this world isn't in the world of the show. It's in another alternate universe, In fact, um... we're all in a fan-fiction of the original show right now."

They all gasped and took a minute to contemplate that thought alone, and then more they did, the more thoughts and questions started bubling up in their heads....

"I-I don't.....understand? How is that even possible!" Gumball paced back and forth his heart racing, as he asked his future self.

"I'm not 100% sure how this is possible either. But, what I do know is that the writer has power over this world. He has control over what happens. Yet, at least, according to him, he hasn't got much control over our actions inside this world, and our actions sort of flow through him as we are living.
It's.... a lot to process, so I understand your guys' reactions." FG sincerely explained.

"Wait, but we've seen fan fiction versions of ourselves before, when Sarah had that book and started writing up Fan-Fictions!" Darwin commented still uneasy.

"Right we did encounter that, but that was in the show, it was an episode where the creators where making fun of fan fiction's, but this fan fiction we're in was written by another person and he told me that technically the shows been canceled for years!" FG continued on.

"Wait, you've talked to the writer. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?" Penny said, raising her voice in utter confusion as she frantically started waving her arms.

"Well, he sent me back here to prevent another timeline from happening, I'd rather not explain that, but let's just say......it didn't have a happy ending." FG mysteriously stated, looking down as he was still sitting on the rock.
