EVERYONE IN HOMEROOM WAS TALKING. Me, Heather, and Connie were gossiping about our boys. Turns out Heather and Brandt got something going on. "Sooo Mia... when's your first date with Alex?" Connie cooed. "This Saturday." I squealed, causing the other two to squeal. "We have to help you get ready!" Heather insisted.
"Settle down everyone!" Mr. O called out. Everyone went silent and faced the front. "We have a lot to do but first and foremost, is signing up for your mandatory community service." He smiled. "More like community suck-vice!" Brandt cheered. Everyone started laughing hysterically, but I wasn't amused.
"I doubt you'll say that when you hear these extremely cool options" Mr. O went on. "Sam's dad is delivering meals to the homeless" Mr O said but was quickly cut off. "PB & J making party at my house!" he yelled, but no one really cared. " There's a river trash pick up you can scrape gum off the bridge and finally Heathers mom is doing a fashion show at the nursing home." Mr O finished.
As he let us break up and write our names down, our trio was the first to be named on the fashion show. "Trust me guys it will be fun!" Heather smiled at me and Connie.
