it turns out that Natalie is my dorm mate! so we are already closer than ever. we have different classes but thats okay. we were in our dorm just chatting while decorating our room to get the vibe.
Natalie: so do you have a boyfriend? i don't, sadly.
you: yes i actually do he's from Boston, Massachusetts, where i live. like we were close by from living with each other but he's not doing college.
Natalie: tell me more...
you: you might know him as the Sturniolo triplets on youtube. but I'm best friends with them snd chris and i are dating. I'm missing him so much right now. its going to be hard, but we will make it work!
Natalie: i watch them, but I'm not a huge fan girl.
you: ah! do you have a crush on anyone?
Natalie: yes oh just one thing that i have to tell you. I'm lesbian! and i have a crush on someone where i live. we are close though.
you: I'm so happy for you girl! ill be your number one supporter! where do you live.
Natalie: i live in Maine so i took a two way flight here.
you: oh cool! love it!
Natalie: practices start today! i'm super excited
you: same!
i felt i buzz from my phone that was in my pocket. i checked it, it was a notification.
you: oh i totally forgot to call them. you can be in the room maybe even say hi if you'd like!
Natalie: i might say hi but then i will be silent have your time with your friends that you miss.
i call chris. he answered after 2 rings.
chris: hey yn! how are you settling in!
yn: pretty well my roommate and i decorated a bit! oh shes a fan by the way! and wants to say hi.
chris: before that let me get Matt and chris.
he sets his phone against the wall while i set my phone against my books. nick, Matt, and chris come in the room. i waved over Natalie to come over here.
Natalie: hi I'm Natalie!
nick: Hiii!
matt: hi
chris: hello!
Natalie went off of the screen.
nick: how are you!!!
yn: I'm doing great, a bit uncomfy since its just the first day you know.
Matt: of course it is. its a different environment.
you:mhm!
chris: i really miss you!
you: i miss you more chris!
nick: gross!
chris: shut the fuck up nick!
nick: fine don't do that in front of me pls!
you: fine! i wish you guys were here right now.
Natalie: hey yn, its almost time for practice.
you: oh ok. ill be ready soon. i have to get ready for softball practice. i love you guys! byee!
chris: we live you too! byee.
i hung up. and gave a sigh. i started to get ready while Natalie started telling me something.
Natalie: you guys are so in love i can already tell.
you: we've been together for almost a month now. August 11 will be our anniversary of one month.
Natalie: aww you guys wont be together!
you: its sad. but ill get through it you know. its in 4 days so.
Natalie: i can make the day better for you!
you: ill probably be calling him a lot or texting him a lot. and thank you it would help me.
Natalie: no problem girl! we have each others backs.
you: if you hate me say it now.
Natalie: why would i hate you! you are such a sweet person! i love you as a best friend!
you: sorry my last friendship that was my absolute best friend was a hater and used me for popularity.
Natalie: don't worry i will never do something like that trust me!
you: okay we need to get to practice.
Chris's pov:
Matt: what are you guys going to do for your one month anniversary?
Chris: we are going to Norman, Oklahoma! i just bought the tickets the night of august 10!
nick: I'm down to see my bestie!
Matt: okay but next time pls tell us before buying the tickets!
chris: fine. i just really want to see her.

after practice i saw i got tagged into someones instagram post. i looked at it. leah sent my self harming, scars. the caption said: she really did this to herself yn really self harmed herself for attention. my eyes started to well up. i ran to my room. and went to the bathroom. i started to cry. why did i even send a pic to her of how bad it was. i called chris mobile. i put my phone to my ear.
chris: hey yn! how was practice!
i tried to cover up from crying but i couldn't speak.
you: it was good...
i said with my high voice.
chris: what is happening why are you crying?
you: look at leah's recent post in her hate page on insta.
chris: that bitch. I'm sorry yn. i know I'm not there and but i care about you and love you so much yn.
you: i love you too. can you stay in call.
chris: yes of course i will. i will stay on call with you as long as you want me too. take deep breaths.
you: i can barley breath chris.
i take a deep breath in and out. i do that 10 times and i finally calm down.
you: i think I'm okay now.
chris: okay, i don't want anything to happen to you.
you: I'm gonna wash up. can i call you back later? I'm gonna take a shower.
chris: take you time! i love you so much! byee!
you: i love you more! byeee!
i hung up, and Natalie walked in the door to our dorm. i open the bathroom door.
Natalie: why did you run off? i thought we were going to walk together.
you: I'm sorry, something happened but its over with.
Natalie: oh sorry for making you think about it again. i didn't know something happened. are you okay?
you: I'm okay! but I'm gonna take a shower.
