Khalil walked away after witnessing everything. He doesn't know where he is and ended up in some lake.
Khalil's POV
"What the fuck!!!" I screamed.
I raked my hair harshly. My insides are churning. I know my girlfriend is not just a mafia member but the leader herself, and seeing her like that? Oh~ goosebumps!
Kali... My Kali- Gosh! I don't know anymore!
*he stopped and took a couple of deep breaths*
"Aaahhhh! My girlfriend killed someone with a poison she created and it's fucking hot!!!!"
"I think I lost my mind. Yep, definitely. Wait..."
I looked around to check if someone heard me. I don't want to cause a problem for my tua-eng.
*phew*
"Thankfully I'm the only one here,"
Then it hit me, "Where the hell am I?"
I frantically looked around me and all I saw were trees. Then suddenly, the wind blew, and it was freaking chilly, creeping me out.
"How the hell did I end up here?" I asked myself.
"I wondered too,"
"Ahh!" I was startled. My hand is on my chest.
"Fuck, tua-eng!" I saw Kali standing with her arms crossed over her chest.
"That's quite a scream," she said with a teasing smile.
"So unmanly," I mumbled. I feel embarrassed.
I glanced at my girl and I couldn't point out what was on her mind.
"Tua-eng-
"Why did you come?" she cuts what I was about to say.
"Uhm..." I am thinking if she means going to her place or where we are currently, but I believe it's the first one.
"What you witnessed is nothing compared to how I truly deal with my enemies and if-
"Wa- wait, love hold on," I stopped her. I have a hunch where this convo is going and I don't like it.
May Tua-eng is waiting for what I'm about to say.
Clearing my throat, I hold her hands, "What I saw will not change the way I look at you. It will not affect what I think about you and most importantly, it will not change how I feel for you," I told her sincerely.
Her expressions soften but I can still see hesitation.
"Tua-eng, I love you. I already saw you fighting before in Marsabit and it made me love you more," I added.
"This is different," she said.
I scoffed, "How's it different? In Marsabit, you fought to protect the people there, and earlier, you fought to defend yourself. That assassin trespassed your home and we both know her intentions and that is to hurt you. So, what you did is like self-defense. Unfortunately for the killer, her target is way, way more skilled than her and what happened to her is the consequence of her actions," I pointed out.
I don't want my Kali to feel guilty. I saw a smirk slowly forming on her face.
"Why? Touched?" I teased.
"You thought I was having a guilty feeling about what I did?" she asked me.
I tilted my head slightly, "Uhm, yes?" Now I'm not sure.
She starts chuckling, "You're cute," she said and it confused me.
"I'm handsome," I correct her.
She sighed, "I don't feel any guilt killing her," she blurted and I don't know how to respond. Maybe my opinion about that bothers her.
