Another day passed and Khalil was still overwhelmed by the fact that his girlfriend is not just an assassin of the feared mafia but the leader herself. He wonders how Kali managed everything. After that day, both of them resumed their work.

Today, Khalil will see once again the last person he wanted to see, Kith. He will have a meeting with Kali and Kith because Mr. Nightwish suggested he work with the Stark Kingdom on his project. Kali will be there because he doesn't want to see Kith alone. And of course, to show off that Kali is officially his.

Right now, Khalil and Kith are already in the meeting room waiting for Kali. Khalil is on his phone texting Kali and Kith is observing him. He chuckled and that caught Khalil's attention.

"What's funny?" Khalil asked.

"Oh, nothing. It's just, you look like you're very uncomfortable in your seat," Kith taunted.

Khalil scoffed, "I believe that goes the same with you,"

"Well, not gonna lie. I don't like to be in the same room as you but I have to be professional," Kith said.

"Then stay professional," Khalil smirked.

"I really hate your guts," Kith said.

"And I simply hate you," Khalil didn't back down.

Kith didn't say anything, so Khalil speaks again.

"Though, I am thankful to you, honestly speaking," Khalil stated.

"For what?" Kith asked.

"For breaking her," Khalil uttered.

Kith clenched his jaw, "You-

"Don't get me wrong, Stark. I hate that you hurt her because I don't want her to be in pain, but I am thankful because that allowed me to make her happy and give her what she deserves," He said cutting Kith.

"Aren't you too confident?" Kith mocked.

"Why shouldn't I when my girlfriend is Kalina Nightwish?" Khalil answered.

Kith was speechless at what he heard.

"Why? Hard to believe?" Khalil asked.

The door opened, "Sorry I'm late- Teerak, you didn't start yet?" Kali arrived.

Khalil was surprised that Kali called him like that. He thought Kali will not do it in public. Meanwhile, Kith can't believe that Khalil seems to be telling the truth.

"Ah, yeah. We are waiting for you," Khalil answered.

"Silly, I already told you to start without me. Besides, I'm not needed here in the first place," Kali replied.

Khalil grinned and soon, they started the meeting. They all maintained their professionalism. The meeting ended well. They are all about to stand up when Khalil's phone rings. He frowned seeing it was Zed.

"I think it's for you. It's Zed," Khalil said handing his phone to Kali.

"Oh? Why didn't he call me instead?" Kali said before answering. Only then she noticed that her phone is not with her.

She excused herself leaving the two men again. Khalil glanced at Kith who is being quiet. He decided to initiate a talk.

"Thanks for agreeing with my terms," he said.

"Don't hurt her," Kith replied.
