It's been almost a week since the death and resurrection of Eddie. Robin has made it her life's mission to study and gather as much information on vampires as possible. We've learned quite a bit from her endeavors actually.

Eddie's body temperature consistently stays at a cool 90 degrees Fahrenheit, the only time it changes is if he is in the shower. Robin suspects that's only because the thermal forehead patch she used to track his temperature was reacting to the steam of the shower.

After a quick trip to the medical supply store in Indianapolis she used her new gear, funded by the group, to expand her research, in turn she made new discoveries. Vampires do breathe, though they breathe significantly less than humans. The lack of brain damage during Eddie's death further spurred her theory that vampires don't actually /need/ to breathe. It's more of a habit, and because of this she's alittle more than annoyed that Eddie won't stop breathing purposefully so she can confirm this.

Eddie said, "If you're wrong, I'm shit out of luck. I only have a limited amount of brain cells and I can't have you killing off the good ones."
To which she replied, "Oh my god, it's not like I'll be water boarding you! Just close your mouth and plug your nose! Just hold your breath until you can't you idiot!"

She had even went so far as to stay up all night and stare at Eddie, finding that he didn't breathe in his sleep, leading to a day long argument between the two of them. Eddie was convinced Robin was lying to fuck with him. She also discovered that he seems to still follow the typical sleep patterns of a healthy human. He has an extremely low blood pressure, that does increase slightly when he exercises and slows even more when he sleeps. So at least Robin's sleepless night provided more than a few new bits of information.

Eyesight tests proved he could see farther than any of the three of you. He could read Steve's sloppy handwritten sight chart from over 500ft with an accuracy unlike anything you'd ever seen.

Steve, being incredibly fit and proud of it, runs at a speed of 6 miles per hour. While the ever slow and shuffling Eddie can now run at the shocking speed of 12 miles per hour. His endurance is unparalleled to anything you'd witnessed before. Steve's ego plummeted in an unsavory way after this test run was completed. He was a sputtering mess, "Please! Re-redo it! I-I'm ready this time. Just I gotta just hold on- catchin' ma breath.".

Steve has tried to get Robin to back off ever since, saying she needed to give Ed some space. It's no use, once she's got an idea she follows through with it to completion. Today however is finally a day of peace, robin had to return to work for fear of getting fired, and was roped into doing something with Nancy after her shift. So after the action packed few days, the work nights and days off for Eddie, you could finally rest.

"So what do you want to do today?" A groggy little mumble fell from his sleepy mouth.

"Absolutely nothing." He hummed a satisfactory 'yes' to your answer. Rolling over to the cool side of the bed, away from you and Flea. He had stayed over the last two nights, opting to sleep in your 'gooey bed' with 'blankie sheets'. Poor boy hadn't ever slept on anything other than his piss poor hotel knock-off bed sheets and rock solid mattress.

He had zero intention on sleeping anywhere else, anytime soon. And that was more than okay with you. Your nervousness crept in as you thought about the last few week. Everything was going so great, he had went out to hunt twice, larger animals and bringing back a bottle or two so he didn't have to go each night. He was his usual happy self though a weight was lifted from those strong shoulders of his, having shared all of himself with you. And with Steve, he'd confided in you that it was difficult to hide this secret from him, Robin had been chomping at the bit to tell him anyway.
