Emile, Leader of Squad B
It seems that the aftermath of our operation wasn't the only thing that was on the news next morning. It seems during the siege, an unknown party assaulted the headquarter of the Tonari Family. Their leader and every subsequent heir of age was killed leaving nothing but the burnt remains of their homes as the area was littered with corpses. The media assumed it was Azrael but a statement released by the Directorate clarified that they were dealing with an unknown group of enhanced individuals working under someone with a bone to pick with the Tonari family. We expected a reprimand but instead received a commendation and bonus for a job well done, it seems the heads of the crime families wasn't the top priority right now.

"Never thought I'd see you again Emile. How's the Directorate treating you so far?", Han walks up with a cup of coffee and hands it to me.

"Was out of commission for a while but now I'm back and well...", lifting my prosthetic robot arm up, "Better than ever I guess".

Han grins, "I can see that".

"You've been here for a while right?", looking around headquarters it seems no one cares about the latest news, "Why is no one freaking out about the fact that a whole crime family was wiped out in one night?"

Han smirks, "That's not our job anymore. Our job is to catch Azrael and his team to better secure the Outskirts, leave the detective work to the normal cops. You're way above their pay grade now." He walks away as he heads to his office, things are different than I expected but as long as we're doing things the right way then it shouldn't matter, we'll catch Azrael no matter what.

Abraham/Azrael
Night time, The Outskirts, Headquarters.

"So it seems they beat us to the Tonari family."

Milo sighs out, "It seems so. Doesn't it seem strange to you though? Why would they turn against one of their employers?"

Miguel looks on, "They're trying to lure us out. They know what we've been doing and are playing their final pieces on the table."

Ada looks at him, "They want us to strike."

Sergio smirks, "That's how confident they are about beating us? They would thin down their own numbers to lure us out? I respect that."

Carter looks at me, "Are we really going to take the bait?"

A grin escapes me, "I really want to. Part of me wants to see what the rest of the Wild Cards are made of, it gets my blood boiling a bit."

Leo looks back and shakes his head, "Even if we did take the bait, we don't know where the Modrani hideout is so there's no way for us to confront them."

Milo pushes his glasses up and pulls up a video, "Fortunately it seems they left something for us at the crime scene".

Marie looks back at him with a hint of anger, "You went to the crime scene!?"

Milo chuckles, "Of course I did. I had to see for myself what we were dealing with here and managed to find this in the hands of the dead leader".

The video plays, "So by this point you managed to find the video. Congratulations, it seems you were even better than we expected. Truly you have been the only ones to force our hands this way, as you can see, we have made your job a bit easier and reduced the number of families down to one. The others just weren't cutting it ya know? Fortunately it seems the higher ups decided that Modrani would carry on operations in the Outskirts. This of course means that if you truly want to take down the crime families then you have to take down Modrani."  The figure walks in towards the light and smirks, "Of course that means you have to get through us. So in good sportsmanship I hereby extend the invitation for Azrael and his team to come face us one last time. Winner take all."

The video ends as the address is the last image on the screen, "Winner takes all huh? You sure do know how to hype someone up Ace."
