Funky's Unwanted Promise

S1, E7: Turning over a new Leaf?

The food supplies in the kitchen were starting to run out, Angela has to start stocking up so she doesn't have to go back and forth.

She went to get ready to go out but as she passes Funky's office he stops her, Funky: "Where are you going, princess?".

Angela: "Don't call me that, I'm going out to buy food supplies!", Funky: "I'll call you what I want, don't you know!? We have a gardener, just ask her and she will give it to you.".

Angela: "Whatever *whisper* jerk, thanks for telling me!" she goes out to find the garden that is located behind the motel, it has been 2 days since Maple started gardening so there aren't many supplies.

Maple: "Hello ma'am, what are you doing here?", Angela: "I'm the chef in the motel and the food supplies have run out, I was thinking about what I should make with the little food that you have just started to grow.".

Maple: "These are new plants, if you look back here there are old foods you can pick. After using all of the old ones, the new ones will be ready to use!", Angela: "Perfect, seems a lot to carry tho. I'll ask Shelly to help me, you can keep on gardening don't worry".

Angela goes to the gym where Shelly is usually, Angela: "Shelly, where are you sweetie?". Shelly: "Over here, just finishing working out", Angela: "Oh wow, I can see the process you make".

Shelly: "If I'm going to be working here, I should get in shape", Angela: "That's wonderful, anyways I need someone to help me carry some items and that somebody is you come on!".

Angela lead Shelly to the garden and start to stock up the kitchen, it was time for lunch and they all gathered together to eat in the dining room.

Jimmie: "Woah sis, your biceps are so visible!", Shelly: "Thanks bro, I cant believe I can be fit in a couple days!". Funky squeezed his apple juice box and all of the juice came out, Barnett: "What's wrong Funky, you are making a big scene?!".

Funky: "*Whisper* I gave her that job to be a teacher, I didn't expect her to work out!", Barnett: "*Whispers* Having nobody to train is going to get boring, besides she's in good shape.".

Funky: "*Whisper* She's a girl, she isn't supposed to look like that!", Barnett: "How are people going to work here if you are such a jerk, have some empathy or dignity and sympathy man!".

Funky: "This is pathetic, I'll respect them when they respect me!", Barnett: "Respect is earned not given, you are being immature!".

Melanie: "They fight like they are a couple more than friends, should we help them?", Pixtor: "They told us not to get involved.".

Maple: "It's like Funky cheated on Barnett and Funky did because he was bored of him and wanted some 'fun', Barnett doesn't want to leave him but he is upset so it is such a toxic relationship.", Azra: "It takes a long time for a toxic person to develop their character, but I have a feeling he will change.".

Funky: "I can't stand being around you people anymore, Im leaving!", Barnett: "Funky wait... I didn't mean to hurt you, I just want you to be better!-"

Funky slammed the door behind him and went to have a drink, Barnett thinks if he should follow Funky or stay in the dining room.

He turns around and everyone was staring at him, Barnett: "Uh... Sorry for the scene, I don't know how to fix this...". Melanie: "Barnett darling, I don't think you have noticed but everybody in this room knows your crush on Funky.", Barnett: "WHAT!? Everyone knows except Funky, my signs are so easy to read but how does he not know that!?".

Pixtor: "Hey man, we tried to help you but you pushed us away. You did say you don't know how to fix this, so leave this to us!", Barnett: "Thanks but how exactly are you going to fix all this, if I can't do it then how can y'all?".

Maple: "We just go with the flow, if he becomes negative we change it to positive!", Barnett: "That doesn't seem professional, are you sure it's going to work?".

Azra: "Oh I'm sure it will work, I have seen things that you haven't but I can't tell you or else it will be spoiled. Now Im going to check on Funky, he can be pretty destructive!", little later Azra found Funky passed out on her counter bar and glass shards on the floor.

Barnett was cleaning the apple juice that Funky had spilled earlier and Azra came in telling him to clean the glass shards: "He really needs to cut out drinking alcohol, it's only been a few minutes and he is already passed out!", Azra: "Yea, maybe I should close the bar until people start to book in but what am I supposed to do now?".

The next day, Funky woke up from his room and got ready to work. He notice that Azra closed the bar and knew it was caused by him, he starts his day with a cup of coffee and Azra entered his office.

Azra: "I closed the bar because of you and now I don't have anything to do, is there something to cure my boredom?", Funky: "In fact I do, but I also need to talk with Melanie and you together.".

Azra: "This better not be something weird, I'm going to get her now-", Funky: "Something is always weird here, if you work in my industry!".

She left his office and went to the security room, Azra: "Hey Melanie, Funky wants to talk to the both of us.".

Melanie: "Oh no, I think I know what he wants us to do!", Azra: "What is it, why am I included?".

Melanie: "I don't know how to explain, you just have to wait and find out", Azra felt scared to know.
